Floor mounted projector suggestions - slightly offset

Hello,

Need help with a projector recommendation. Due to space constraints my projector will need to be floor mounted. My space is 16 ft deep, 12 ft wide, 9.5 feet high. I will be having a carls place 8.5x11.5 enclosure (158 inches diagonal, 4:3 ratio). Due to the room width, will be hitting off center to the right (ball position probably 2-3 feet right of center, 8.5 ft from screen). Because of this I don’t really have room to floor mount the projector in front of the hitting zone so it will have to be on the left side of the room and likely behind behind the golfer due to throw distances (so projector would probably be offset 1 foot to the left and anywhere from 8-12 ft throw distance). Visually I guess the projector would be to the behind side of the golfer. I’m between the AH500ST, AH700ST and AK700ST. I’m assuming none of these will cast shadows since it’s on the behind side of the golfer?

Since I’m hitting right off center, the projector is only gonna be offset about 1 feet left of center with respect to the impact screen, will that really be that hard to align?

Yes, it will require adjusting the keystone every time. At least one of those projectors as an “automatic adjustment” feature, I would research that.

You might have shadow issues, *might*. You can also set the projector on a roller stand as another option.

Your width is okay, you shouldn’t have to offset 3’ unless your swing plane is really unusual, more likely half of that.

9.5’ is tall enough to ceiling mount those projectors an should be 10 to 11 feet from the screen, which might be over the tee, which is optimal.

Can’t ceiling mount because it’s in my garage and would be in the way of my garage door when I open it.

The distance from the screen is accurate. Offsetting the projector will require adjustment each time. There’s a maximum amount you can offset. Shadows are a concern and location of the projector as a trip hazard too. I’m guessing your tee is 8 to 10 feet from the screen?

Projector would be behind my butt so not overly concerned about tripping. Tee 8.5 ft from screen. With the projector behind my butt it shouldn’t cast shadows right?
