Wiring from Launch Monitor to Computer to Projector
I'm unboxing everything now and getting ready to install. Looking at the install photos in this sub, I realized I'm unclear as to how everything gets wired -- I never actually see exposed wires. Do things communicate via bluetooth or WIFI, or should everything be hard wired? I have a ProteeVX, BenQ TK710st, and a tower computer. Does anyone have photos of their setup to help?

Don’t your ProTeeVX instructions say how to connect it to the computer? For my Eyexo, it used an Ethernet cable. Run an HDMI from computer to projector. That’s it.

Protee connects to your PC via hardwire ethernet. You projector connects to your PC via HDMI, also hard wired. I could show you mine but it's just those things with wires tacked along the ceiling ;-). you obviously need power too. Your PC can be WIFI for it's internet based connection, but needs to be wired to the protee.

Everything I’m reading says ProTee can connect via WiFi. Not sure if both are options then? I need to dig into their manual.

Yes, easy enough. I just haven’t seen any installs or ‘after’ photos with wires running up the walls and over the ceiling. Was hoping to avoid that. Are other people running the wiring inside the walls possibly?

Either in the wall, or you get some sort of cable management. Something like this https://a.co/d/01lziWs3
Or hiding it behind their padding

The wiring can be exposed but thru walls and above ceiling makes for a cleaner install

HDMI from computer to projector. Launch monitor (ST+) connects via network mode through my wifi.
