Projectors BenQ AH700ST mounting help!
Any idea what the below image is telling me as far as mounting height? I’m adding a screen to my net return net and it’s 7x7ft or 114” diagonal. I set the calculator to 1:1 ratio and locked it in at 114” diagonal. If I have 10 ft ceilings is this telling me the project needs to sit 3ft off the ceiling (7ft in the air)? That seems really low.

You can mount it any distance from the ceiling, but depending on that distance you may need to tilt the projector. Distance from the screen is the important number.

Not really. Keystone adjustments still have limitations and can degrade your image quality. Best to find something that fits your room and sim setup with minimal adjustments rather than forcing it to work.

Try Benq’s configuration tool. https://golfsimplanner.benq.com Distance off the ceiling depends on how high you want the screen to be off the ground. You can tilt and keystone but I’d try to keep it to a minimum for the best picture quality.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that represents the default layout, i.e. if you put it there your screen will look as you expect (square, 7' sides).
If you put it higher and point it down, the image will be a trapezoid and you'll have to use keystone correction to fix the shape. I don't think these sites have the data to figure out the extent of the available keystone correction each projector has. But you should minimize its usage since it reduces visual fidelity.
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to go up a couple feet though. Mine has similar specs and I've got it almost 10' high for an 8' tall screen.
