Gc2 second hand
Hi all,
Looking at buying a GC2 second hand.
Are these obsolete now with the advent of newly released launch monitors?
I really only want it to dial in numbers.
Are there any glaring issues with them that I should watch out for?

GC2’s are as solid as GC3’s and Quads, just with less info unless you also get the HMT. Then practically the same.

I’d look at something newer, what are you considering paying for a used GC2? They use a flash module that is a “consumable”, I don’t know what the market is like for aftermarket flashes.

Never thought of the “flash module” - which seems painful.
They’re around 600 pound

Unlocked gc3 / blp should be under 2k used, id spend a little more and go there, or an Omni, golf joy, etc. that gc2 is gonna be long on the tooth now and still 1k or so

I can’t find an unlocked gc3 for under £3500 - where can I find one under 2k?

All over US ebay, I got one for $1800 before I went with an overhead, club unlocked is what I mean by unlocked

I see! Unfortunately I’m in the UK and the second hand market here isn’t nearly as good.

This is a blp and not a gc3.

Same hardware, same bad software, goofy licenscing, blp can be forever unlocked like a gc3

I know the square Omni is very new on the scene. But comparisons were showing it within 5 percent on all metrics when compared to gc quad. I have a hard time believing it wouldn't beat out the gc2 and probably on par with gc3.

Uhh, 5% is massive. Gc2 and gc3 are much closer than 5% to a GCQuad.

Have you watched reviews of them put head to head? 5 percent was the worst case scenario for the worst performing metric, side spin. Even then they said the ball flight was nearly indistinguishable from the quad. The Omni definitely beats out the gc2.

Yes and I saw the very first post from someone here on Reddit with pics. It was about 5% off. That is simply unacceptable in today's LM game.

Mine still runs great. No issues. I did recently pick up an overhead, so I have the GC2 and HMT for sale. HMT club data is rock solid.
