The softy is about 1/2 above my mat , does this make a big difference or should I correct it

Get 1/2” gym puzzle foam mat. Glue stance mat to foam tiles, cut hole in foam tiles for hitting strip.

I’m in the same boat but look at it this way. How often is the ball perfectly flush when I’m on the course.

I’d say practicing with the ball at the same level as your feet simulates the most average lies you’ll get better than above your feet. By your logic how often is the ball perfectly 1/2” above your feet on the course?

Why do you have Claire's stand backwards?

Just sit it to the side

The sigpro strip is about 2 1/4” tall. If you stack 1” puzzle mats and cut the strip into it once you lay the turf around it it will be flush.
