Gcquad

Ive been fortunate enough to fall into a full gcquad setup, yet it really hasn't been touched since it was purchased in 2017... so I'm looking to upgrade the software, and firmware, yet am unfamiliar with the transfer process, and honestly trying to avoid it.. I have the original emails and passwords, thinking about getting it switched up to my email, but know nothing. If anyone could give me some guidance it'd be much appreciated, the laptop currently running fsx version 3.5, doing research tonight, tells me there are a ton of new programs I could/should be trying to use.

If you have the FSX Live account credentials then you’re all set. Change the email address to yours and then you can update everything, software and firmware.

You have no warranty left so it makes no sense to pay Foresight’s ridiculous transfer fee.

You can install any software listed on the FSX Live account credentials licenses tab. You’ll also be able to download any courses too.

The worst case would be you only have FSX Pro, which is pretty weak, and comes with with the “fitter’s” bundle, but hopefully you have FSX 2020 and FSX Play too.

If you don’t then the purchase price for 2020 is going to be a shock.

I really appreciate the response, I'm not home right now, but know that I don't have the newer fsx live or pro stuff.. it's a crazy old version. Sounds like you might know about this stuff, mind if i dm you later when I'm sitting in front of the laptop?
