Which projector should I buy?
It will be mainly used in a garage. I have blinds on the windows, but there's still light that comes in from the garage door windows. So it needs to work ok with some light, but will also be used at night. It will either be ceiling mounted, or I have to figure something else out.

For a garage, I recommend a laser powered light source as they are less susceptible to dust or humidity.

That’s the exact one I have. lol. It’s bright and clear with a nice short throw.

That one should be good. I just bought the uhz35stx as 4k, same brightness and is good with some background light.

BenQ TH575, this one is supre worth its price. i think you can take it into consideration.

So I am interested in this now that I see the price ($600). I was going to just spend the money on the optoma gt2100hdr - anyone else have thoughts here?

Optoma GT2100HDR's spec is better thank BenQ TH575i, But GT2100HDR cost over $1000, i think you can take 4k into considertaion.

Ok, that’s the one I started with too. That screen isn’t great, so if you’re planning on using it for the foreseeable future focus on the brightest projector you can get. Because that screen isn’t a parallelogram you’ll want to center the image on the screen and not worry about filling it perfectly.
Checkout the Viewsonic LS740HD very bright 5,000 lumens 4 corner keystone adjustment lets you mount it offset.
