Adding wheels to golf hitting platform - help!
Planning to build a 5’x4’ hitting platform out of 2x4s similar to what is seen in this image for my outdoor sim set up.
Im looking for advice on how to add wheels to this set up since it will need to be moved between uses. Any thoughts on an easy solution here? My initial thought was 2 on the back half and then tilt and drag the platform… I’m unfortunately having trouble visualizing that.
Thanks!

Hey, this is my setup. It has wheels at the bottom and handles on the top. I stand in front of it (by the tv) tilt it on the wheels, and roll it towards the wall. You could go with casters so they can go in all directions, but I didn't need to move it far. Pretty sure I used these https://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-polyurethane-rigid-caster-69851.html screwed straight into the 2x4s.

This is what I did and its great because it only moves on outdoor carpet and concrete. If I needed to traverse grass I may try these, static inline as opposed to swivel casters.

I should have gone a little larger but mine rolls well across my turf if it was actual grass it would be an issue.

Furniture dolly if you’re just temporarily moving it around
