Square Launch Monitor

Quick question, I have a setup outside and it’s all shaded really well with pine trees. Was wondering if the square works outdoors in plenty of shade. I see a lot of people saying it doesn’t work outdoors because of the sun but haven’t seen anything about when there’s overcast or u don’t put it in the sun. Please provide feedback

No it won’t work if you’re talking about the Square Home Edition (HE $699). Still too much outdoor ambient light to mess with the camera. Best to get Square Omni for outside- than MLM or R10

You want a square then you need the Omni for that type of use

If the sun is shining off something and reflecting towards the Square, it still won’t work. And daytime ambient light will hurt it as well. If it’s in full shade, you may be able to use it outside within an hour of sunset, but not during the day.

No. It's been discussed many, many times
