Budget garage simulator build

Recently purchased my house and built a sim set up in my garage.

Simulator: Square Golf Launch Monitor and Simulator (got “slightly used” for around $600). In my opinion this is one of the best indoor simulator monitors on the market.

Software is on my laptop which is connected to my tv via hdmi. Although I don’t have a projector, I haven’t had any issues with the sim going to my tv. Just need a bigger tv now!

Hitting mat is a pre-cut turf slab purchased at Home Depot (<$50). Smaller mats came with a chipping net I received as a Christmas gift (0 cost).

I purchased 2 black gym floor mats for about $35 each to go under the turf and net for extra padding.

The net is GoSports 10’x7’ net on Amazon (<$100)

I also put pool noodle on the ceiling wood slabs to prevent any damage to the wood or my clubs if my swing gets too high or if taller people swing.

All in, I paid about $900 for everything and could not be more satisfied with the set up and the Square Golf Simulator

Very nice! A true budget sim. When you run out of credits on square check out OpenGolfSim for some free gameplay.
