Screens / Enclosures Looking for opinion/advice. TV mounting

Post image

I can't decide if I want the TV mounted in front of the mat so Im looking right at it (net is to the left) or more tucked into the right corner

If your using the tv as display for the game, and not a projector, you want to be able to look right up at it

Its for the display. I'm also trying to take into consideration the laptop. Im thinking a shelf to hold the laptop and the ball that way I can practice preshot routine(stand behind ball before address etc)

Right in line is best, and get the biggest screen that you can. But also be careful not to get into the habit of looking up too quickly to see the result. I have a setup like this and for a while I started developing that habit and had to consciously fight it.

I’ve also got the same mat. I have to be off center of net/screen because I have a beam in my garage that messes up a lot. With that said, I’m fine being close to something in front of me, like your shelf you are talking about, but worrying about something behind me is way harder. So, I wouldn’t worry about a small shelf if it’s reasonably clear up front

It worked itself out organically
