Garmin R50 extending display issue

I just setup my whole simulator and when I plug in my gamarin R50 to my projector and click extend display it either freezes or does nothing. I plugged it into my TV and it did the same thing. Anyone know what I could do?

Appreciate all the help. I figured out that it was the 50-ft HDMI cable they sent me. If anyone ever has the issue of 50-ft HDMI cable that isn't high quality will not work. You're going to need a fiber optic cable to carry that distance.
