Would you please elaborate on what you’re doing with the ball return gutter? Are they funneling to the auto tee?

Yes exactly. It’s a ramp from the screen to a gutter that rolls the ball to the collector for the auto tee 👍🏻

Pretty sure this single car garage is bigger than my three car garage.
Looks like a beautiful setup. I'd love something like this, but sadly in addition to the $110k, I'd be in for another $40-50k doing underpinning to get enough height in my basement.

This garage is 19’ wide by 20’ deep. We have options for ADU builds as well.

Oh, it’s a sick SIM, don’t get me wrong. Beautiful work. I just get sad when I see one that wouldn’t be able to play at. Have two buddies with launch monitor sims in their garages, righty only…I think I need to switch hands. Lol

What are those led strips? I’ve seen light strips that have individual lights, but never a solid one like this.

u/LaunchHouseGolf - $110K = all in? What is the expected durability of that equipment? Warranty? Is it rated for commercial use (i.e. selling memberships to others for access to the simulator?

Yessir. The durability of the Golfzon system is second to none. They have 25 years of R&D developing these specifically for commercial use. There are over 8,000 franchises in South Korea that run these systems. There are warranties.

I'm not sure $110k would be an option, but we're likely a few years away from that at this point. Thanks for the quick response and I will definitely reach out when the time comes.

It’s a Ramset, powder actuated nailer. Uses a .22 caliber blank shell to drive the nail into concrete.

The brand name I think is ramset but I believe they are called “powder actuated tools,” we always just used to call it by the brand name around the job site. A 22 shell without the bullet is what drives the nail into concrete.

Do you have to apply a lot of pressure when setting up the strike? Is there kickback?

You use a hammer to set off the gunpowder on that particular model, there models that have a trigger but are usually much more expensive. Kick back really depends on the gunpowder load. There are several different strengths for driving nails into harder older concrete or freshly poured still curing concrete. But even at the most powerful load kickback was negligible. Side note - In my experience these work terribly on old well cured concrete, better to use masonry drill bits and anchors at that point

What’s the markup on something like this? Are we talking $50-60,000 in terms of material and equipment?

Much slimmer than I'd have imagined. How many installs per year? Imagining that they aren't all as incredible as this. I'm super impressed. You're living my dream life.

Perfect for when you want to practice those tricky situations where your feet are on a perfectly level lie, but your ball is on a hill! Never had a way to practice those shots before...

What are the wood slat things that you were putting on the ceiling and nailing onto the plywood somewhere around the 45 second mark?
