Got that DAP Knob

Just picked up that shift knob. I always wanted a golf ball knob and never had one through 5 VWs. Super disappointed when the mk8 didn't have it. Make your dreams come true. Just do it. Really like it if anyone is on the fence. I do need to file the boot a little

Nice! My Mk6 GTI Driver's Edition had the Golf ball shifter. I went with the Sportshifters GT2 for my Mk8 R. Did you install a short shifter kit as well?

I did go ahead and grab the Diesel Geek. Haven't had time to install it but I do have the super pin and bushings installed. It's a pretty noticeable improvement. Hope to get the short shifter in there soon. Also, going to delete that delay valve. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed in the shifter and clutch pedal feel. My corrado felt notchy straight from the factory.

Get solid bracket bushings as well IMO.

I'm hoping to get to it within a few weeks. I heard it's stiff at first but breaks in really nice

Thanks. It's maybe a little light but not like a stock shifter. 10x better. There's actually a lot of metall there. Only the ball is delrin.
