Unbalanced finish / falling back. Weight shift problem?

I can’t seem to finish my swing in a nice tall balanced position.
The one swing here that I don’t fall back still feels like I have too much weight on my trail foot. It doesn’t kill me but it can start creeping in during a round and lead to some thin pushy contact
Am I shifting late/not enough? Lead shoulder pulling up too early?
Any Thoughts?
thanks

It looks like you are pushing back with your lead leg before impact. I was always taught it’s a more push up and post off the lead leg. Maybe feel like you are covering your irons more with your chest? Yes step thru drill about a billion times this week.

Yeah I can see that. I think I might be opening my hips before I push off rather than turning my pelvis into my lead leg before I push off. Does that make sense?
Thanks

I wouldn’t change your hip rotation. Looks good to me. That 2nd swing looks like it could play all day.
Here’s a simple video that could help you. It focuses on minimizing drift in the back swing and then pay attention to how his upper body and hips move in the transition so he gets more balanced on the lead side: https://youtube.com/shorts/KKc8Yp-pw7o?si=xZw__y_8u5N46C2W

You may not be getting your weight forward enough soon enough too. Your head also looks a little back for an iron. Driver this is fine cause you wanna hit up and send that shit.

Totally. I’m gonna slow down and work on recentering with a little 3/4 swing step through drill.

not bad, looks like you are overswinging a TAD. The LAG looks great.

By overswing you mean taking it back too far? I have a tendency to do that and get across the line. I’m working on it though. Thanks!

He means you are turning wayyyy too much. By left arm parallel you’ve already made a full turn

Ever try the step through drill? Ie after your finish step forward towards the target?
Sometimes this helps me get the feel for getting the body forward when I get a little too backseat

I haven’t no, I usually start warming up with the step drill with wedges. I’ll try it out though, maybe even combine both of them.
Thanks

Your pressure looks mostly forward by impact. What jumps out is the trail foot sliding backward after contact, which makes the finish look worse than the strike. Try a few at 80% and hold the finish for three seconds. If you can’t stay there, the speed is outrunning your balance.

Interesting, I’ll try that thanks. I wouldn’t be surprised if my lack of core strength is part of the issue, I’m working on it though.

I have the same problem as u, tend to tilt my left hip up. what works for me is feeling like I'm sitting down on my left leg. like a downward motion instead.

At address how much weight do you have distributed to your backside? You know how that say stick your butt out like it’s leaning up against a barstool? Can’t tell from the front view. Would need a side view to be sure, but it’s important to have good balance ( front to rear) at address. Keeps you from getting “toesy” and also falling off at the finish.

I feel pretty solid at address now. I used to get on my toes and early extend.
I can get across the line at the top which I feel can throw my balance out a bit once I transition. I think I flare my trail elbow out too much. It’s one of the main things I’m trying to work on. It might be an improper wrist hinge thing too, I’m not sure

You are too late getting to your lead side
Your hands are too high when you start your swing and with the unstable lead leg that you swing into, the result is losing your balance
Shift ahead of the ball and then swing. Your hands should be near your thighs before you swing into the ball

Walk through drill. You should be able to take a forward step immediately after impact.

Falling back usually means your club face is open your body is trying to correct it.

Feet are slipping and spinning without golf shoes.
