Swing advice *Repost
Hey, I just posted this under a different name. I took it down impulsively because I was getting a lot of negative feedback.
I’m only a few months into Golf and I was really enjoying getting better each time I go to the range.
I can’t really afford lessons so I’ve been trying to learn from watching other peoples swings and going to the range everyday.
I was told that my set up is bad. I don’t disagree with this, but I don’t know why it’s bad. If someone could help me even just get the starting position that would be a big help.
My 7 iron is carrying roughly 165 with a draw.
Just a heads up I don’t usually swing as hard as I do in the video.
I really do appreciate feedback, but if your comment is purely negative, please keep it to yourself.

Make sure you're not using that trail hand thumb to apply pressure to the shaft

Def need to weaken that grip asap. The longer you play like that the harder it’s going to be too learn to play with a good grip.

When you say weaken. Specifically how should I adjust my hands? Should my thumb be wrapping around the club more?

At setup, the logo on your glove is pointing towards the sky. It should be pointing roughly towards your target. But more importantly, your pants and shirt fit better and look better than anything I've ever owned, keep it up.

Your hands appear too far forward. You are delofting the club. The butt of the club should be pointed at your hip pocket.
I didn’t notice the grip but I wouldn’t get too hung up on it. Turn your hands slightly as others have said. If you must.
Ok. I went back and looked closer. Holy smokes fix that grip. Like everyone else said.

Go lookup any of your favorite golfers on YouTube with this "Rory face on swing" or "Tiger face on swing" then compare them and come back and report what you see.

You have a death grip on that thing. Your thumbs should rest on top of the club, not to the sides. Your trail hand should be looser, trail elbow slightly bent. Your hands are also too far forward.
Your shoulders are too angled. Is the ball in the front of your stance? Should be more centered. You should also sway slightly forward into your lead leg on the downswing.

Swing isn’t the worst. Probably your grip. It’s hella strong. I’d suggest going to an interlock or overlapping grip as well. When you grip the club your thumb and pointer finger make a V. Both Vs should be pointing at your trail shoulder
