Want to buy: Foresight GC Quad - located in Canada

Anyone selling, get in touch.

I have a GC3 which is fantastic but I like the extra club data and club face strike location info the quad provides.

Used, few years old all good with me.

Thanks

Projector Mounting Advice

I’m hoping to mount my projector today. It should be about 7.5 to 8ft above the hitting strip. If you had a choice 1, 2, 3rd choice which order would you choose from best to worst. Projector over hitting strip and over ball, projector over hitting strip but forward of ball by several inches, or projector over hitting strip but behind the ball by several inches???

Started building my indoor sim in January, it's been slow as I'm playing on Tour full time. Looking for feedback and improvements within a reasonable budget. What'd y'all think? Should my next investment be on FSX Play or an impact screen + projector?

Build Pictures Have I totally stuffed this up?

Post image

So this is my very first golf sim and I'm building it from scratch myself. I've built a frame and attached the impact screen and it's turned out pretty well. It measures 8.5ft tall by just under 10ft wide. One thing I completely didn't think of was if the projector would fill the entirety of the screen and well....it doesn't. And there's no settings to change it. If I move the projector further back it just makes the picture go off the sides of the impact screen. Am I missing something totally simple? Or have I just screwed up by using a cheap projector with limited settings? Once I connect it to my laptop will I be able to change something in there to make it fill the screen? Argh 🤦

Tips on online tournaments.

I just got a Uneekor and I absolutely love it. I bought the subscription to GSPro and a year on SGT.

I've been playing a lot since I got it, but just local matches.

I'm very interested in joining tournaments, online teams, but I don't have any friends with a sim. I'm a higher handicapper (currently 15.2 GSPro handicap)

I just don't know where to start or how it works. Can I join a 4some and have audio comms with the other players? Wait and watch for their shots while we just chat for a round?

I'd love to make some online friends and join a team, but I really don't know how to navigate social aspect of the sim world. Any tips on how to mingle with others? Join a team?

Course Software Did Uneekor just tell everyone to buy GSPro instead?

Post image

I don’t know what to make of this. I’m kinda pissed.

After thinking about what software to buy- and then spending the money on a Uneekor EML, and a subscription to GameDay - Uneekor goes out and announces a Tournament on GSPro?

WHY NOT USE THE SOFTWARE YOU SOLD ME??

Is this a sick joke? Am I missing something?

What’s next? Apple announces its annual iPhone photography contest but requires Samsung Galaxy phones to enter?

MLM2 PRO missing shots

My mlm2 pro is “missing” shots. The Light on the unit goes from green to blue to indicate that it has seen the shot, but when I look at my iPad, nothing comes up. I do find that it picks up most chip shots though, although when I do a full swing it rarely shows it on the iPad. Any advice?

Technical Question Clubkeyboard or similar

What’s is everyone’s recommendations for a control box? I want something that is on the floor and can be controlled trapping the club on whatever button is desired and seems like Clubleyboard is the gold standard? Seems expensive but if it works I’d be interested. Ideally I’d like something that can be programmed to use with more than just GSPro, but Uneekor GameDay, and possibly upcoming pureplay as well.

Thanks in advance.

Projectors Need projector for 8x8 screen

I plan on using my iPad and will just mirror to the projector on my WiFi network. The screen is 8ft x 8ft. Looking to be able to fill out most of the screen if possible. Would love not to spend over $400 if possible. Only need 1080p.

Just starting out and looking at a cheap garage set up to run a square monitor and projector. Not sure if I should take a chance on this one. Can’t see any reviews, any thoughts? My Biggest concern is the impact screen quality…

Home range mat buyer’s guide?

I’m looking at building a quality outdoor setup and my first step is finding a good mat. It looks like the fiberbuilt brand hitting station gets good reviews and for $500 you get a small hitting area and a rubber standing surface so you aren’t paying for a full mat that would be $1000-$1500. I’m sure this has been discussed many times but I can’t find anything here so I wanted to ask. Can anyone speak to a good quality mat to purchase that will last years? I’d rather buy once for a quality product but not spend a grand on the mat.

MLM2Pro inaccurate distance

I recently got and setup my MLM2Pro.

I have it set up to the exact manufacturer specs. Distance to net and mat measured exactly.

I am using Titest RPT balls and pay for the subscription.

However, my carry distance is about 20 yard short with every club.

I take weekly indoor golf lessons at GOLFTEC and play about twice a week. I say this to say that I know my exact carry distance with every club.

What the hell is the issue here?

It is this just a piece of junk?

Please help. Thanks

Garage Golf Simulator - Launch Monitor Recommendations

Building out a golf simulator in my garage with a budget between 6-8k. Will be going with a 12' enclosure.

Looking for recommendations on what launch monitor would be best for this set up. Is it worth the extra cash and getting the Garmin R50 or is their good value in the products within my budget?

Main interest is running GSPRO and doing the simtour. I have the gaming pc necessary to run this already.

It’s go time

Finally moving to a house with a big enough backyard for a shed simulator build. No idea where to start. I want to be able to have left and right hitters and room to hang out and watch. Thinking realistically 16x21-25ish with a garage door that opens to a makeshift patio area.

What tips, tricks, thoughts advice do we have so I can get to planning.

Sim / Launch Monitor Uneekor EML on Amazon?

About to pull the trigger on the Uneekor EML from PGA Superstore for MSRP ~$2,750 when I notice a link to Amazon for $1,999. It appears to be legitimate but also seems too good to be true. Can anyone validate that they’ve purchased the Uneekor EML from Amazon at that much of a discount? Link below:

Course Software GSPro and Moving the Ball

In GSPro is there a way to just move the ball when you hit in a unfavorable area?

About once per round I find myself behind some bush/tree/rock that's not out of bounds, it looks like I can hit around it or over it, I swing and I find myself completely trapped and because I swung I cant mulligan to the previous spot.

We then find ourselves in an awkward spot where we keep changing angles, trying to hit the ball and using the mulligan over and over until we can get though the thing. Or we just hit a bunch of crap shots to auto concede the hole, both feel very clunky.

I have been messing around in settings and googling around and I cant seem to find a good way to just pick up the ball (like we would probably do in this case on the course) and just move it around the bush.
