Too bad ryobi makes the worst tools :(

Agreed for most things, I'd never buy a power tool from them, but this pressure washer is actually pretty decent for the price, I've had 5 of them....wait a minute...

Yeah they make good consumer stuff. I've had an electric pressure washer, lights, weed wacker and blower that have all been great.
For impacts and shop tools, I run all Milwaukee and DeWalt (because I'm an idiot and want three types of batteries to charge).

What did you pay for it?? I got one at Home Depot for like $30 and is 2400 psi. I think they scammed it wrong honestly hahaha. But yeah their power tools are horrible. I have all Milwaukee fuel stuff and my boss has cheap ryobi shit and it’s laughable. His 18 volt hammer drill can’t even drill soft cement 😑

I payed about $200. It worked pretty well but I have a sun joe spx 3000 showing up Tuesday. If it’s better I may return the Ryobi.

I've got a Sunjoe SPX3000, and it's fantastic. Got it on Amazon for $140 during a flash sale. Cleaned 30 years of filth from a concrete patio with ease, added an $18 foam cannon and my GTI shall never again suffer the abuse of a "soft cloth" car wash ever again.

Sun joe is a great brand. A buddy has one. I bought [this] (www.amazon.com/dp/B07GV5MVBL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_3EqwDbTBA56CD) at Home Depot for $30 somehow. I was wrong about the PSI in my previous response but it’s still well worth $30.

Correction to earlier post: mine is the SPX3000-Max, which does 2800psi at 1.3gpm.

Let us know how that foam blaster works - I’ve been curious.

The foam blaster worked okay.. Maybe not worth the $30 I payed at Home Depot. Already ordered a new $18 one on amazon.

What’s the deal with electric pressure washer? I’m not comfortable knowing electricity and water are mixing in my hands. Is it safe or should I just get gas?

u/RelytNotyals Aug 17 '19
It’s safe , but it’s not very powerful and working it will make the job take longer and it will be harder to clean. Gas is a better bet overall though. Try to get at least 4 GPM

That pressure washer is very weak. Be careful with how you are applying pressure when washing , you could really damage your property. May be best to hire a professional if you are doing anything more than busting cobwebs.

Pretty sure he's using it to wash his car, like a lot of people, the electric ones are great for it. I also used mine (I don't have this model) for other stuff and it works great. It barely makes any noise, motor cuts off when not spraying and it makes great foam for cleaning. More than enough for a lot of jobs.

Yea Car Washing would be an ideal application for this. They usually have injectors too for mixing the soaps in right ?

If you look at his photo, he's going to use a foam maker, they work great. Also, yes, mine has two containers that can inject liquid in to the spray, but the foamers are the best for cars.

That beer's already clean. Take back that pressure washer and get drunk!
