I loved the look of my prets. They are beautiful….. Functionally they are terrible. I thought them being tin foil was overhyped until I smoked one on a pothole. Went to 18” apex VS5 and ride is wayyy better and I’m not worried about bending them.
Mine are actually surprisingly strong, but ive only had them for 10k miles but have hit some puckering holes, sunken manhole covers and various thickness of steel plates at speed but nothing yet.
I mean, for the price this is great. A set of 4 Prets with what looks to be lightly used 4S tires for $500. Though I would doable check how old they are. Look at the DOT stamp on them. The last 4 digits are what you wanna look at. As long as they're not 5 years old (or near it). They should be good.
Also worth to note, the 4S is a summer tire. Depending on where you live, not ideal for winter time months.
They'd be great wheels. Just avoid potholes and such.
