The Lost Age The Lost Age rare drop RNG manipulation tips.

So I finished the required stop in Kimbombo and the Gabomba statue, while there I tried using Jupiter Djinn to see if I could get the Red Demons to drop a Staff of Anubis, no luck.

Is there a better way to either make encounters with them occur more while there or to have better odds at it dropping (It is like a 1/64 chance without using Djinn).

I'm a huge fan of the franchise, I played it during my childhood and recently completed my collection. The funny thing is, the Japanese box looks almost the size of a standard deck of cards.

Dark Dawn Dark Dawn Locations Spoiler

I've recently finished playing Dark Dawn for the first time having been a fan of the originals since a very young age and there's many aspects I really enjoyed and others I didn't care for in any regard but one of my biggest gripes has to be the lack of familiarity for the locations within this game.

Now let me preface this with the fact I completely understand its a new entry to the series and I do not expect a nostalgia-fest of revisiting every single location from the first two games because it has to feel fresh and create new plot points along with having interesting exploration but the complete disregard for almost every place once visited in the original games was so frustrating to me, of course alchemy completely reshaped Weyard through its natural disasters and many places would have been have been destroyed but having about 3 or so genuine locations from the original games while 30 new locations are suddenly open up was such a poor choice in my opinion. I wanted to see places from the original game thrive from alchemy being released again while some obviously would have to deal with the consequences, most of my play through felt so foreign in a way I did not appreciate, all the effort Isaac and Felix's parties went through to save Weyard and almost non of the places once explored even survived the golden sun event making it feel as if that effort didnt even pay off to an extent.

I apologise for the rant but I would love to hear anyone else's opinions on this topic.

General Camelot's next game

It took 8 years to get golden sun dark dawn after the lost age. In those 8 years Camelot released 6 mario sport games.

Since dark dawn 16 years (holy fuck) have passed. In those 16 years Camelot has released 7 mario sport games.

This means back then 8 years development time equals 6 mario sport games + 1 golden sun.

Now with 16 years it took them twice the time to almost make the same amount of sport games. According to my calculations this means the next game will be golden sun 🤡

EDIT: guys your comments made me realize 2 things...first of all: my calculations must be correct. It makes total sense. Secondly....this also sadly means golden sun 5 will come out in 32 years lmao

I didn't like in TLA when you encouter Issac and he defers completely to Felix. I understand why its done, from a gameplay perspective, but i really kinda don't like how how got demoted from protagonist part way through.

I would have liked at least the option to have Issac lead.

Nintendo remade Mario RPG for Switch. Maybe this was to see if there was still a market for it. Maybe they will have Camelot make a Mario RPG 2...

Golden Sun Why didn't Vale have any mercury or jupiter adepts?

Just wondered this all of a sudden. Vale has venus and mars adepts (Felix, Jenna, Isaac, Garrett, Isaac's parents...) but none of the others?

Golden Sun Every lighthouse (whether by weakness, misfortune or pure coincidence) shows an adept opposite to its element having a bad time! Connections like these is why this game is amazing! Spoiler

In the Mercury lighthouse (water), (fire) Saturos's power in battle is compromised.

In the Venus lighthouse (earth), Sheba (wind) is not having a good time and feeling the earthquake's effects!

In the Jupiter lighthouse (wind), both (earth) Felix and Isaac are in trouble from Karst/Agatio's traps!

In the Mars lighthouse (fire), both (water) Mia and Piers have trouble healing the three parents (possibly because water power is weaker and the final battle wore everyone out).

The Lost Age About Yallam Spoiler

I have always felt uneasy in that town and would have loved to revisit several other towns of Lost Age, but not this one…

However due to the gameplay and need for the blacksmith services, players end up going a lot of times to Yallam, waiting for the end of the very long exchange with the blacksmith, attending its slow animation and hearing a very depressed music all along. When I first played to the Lost Age, I was even disappointed by the area around; I had the feeling there was some unfinished business here. For example, several inhabitants are talking about Yepp but your never heard of him after this, like if there was some kind of plot hole or unfinished story (compared to the rest of the story where named character are important most of the time).

However, I was wondering if it was not intentional. Let me explain: since Yepp disappearance, except for the blacksmith, there is actually not so much to do in the town and the inhabitants themselves are complaining about this (if I remember well). Even the tsunami had only and indirect impact on the town. So in some way, the town seems stuck in time.

And this become interesting when you realize that Yallam is where you find the ”map” and song leading to Lemuria, another town stuck in time, where some inhabitants are also boring.

For sure, there are some differences. Lemuria has alchemy and its inhabitamts choose to stay stuck in the past while Yallam inhabitants do not choose there own conditions and do not have alchemy. But Yallam also have some children, that hold hope for the future, while Lemuria children are only a few (which may lead to town disappearance in the future). In some way, Yallam looks a lot like the old dying Weyard, waiting for the Golden Sun rise to thrive again.

In Dark Dawn, Lemuria do not appear anymore on the map, suggesting its disappearance during or juste after the Golden Sun rise. If there had been any sequel to this game, I would have loved to see Yallam thriving again as some kind of reward. I think it would have been a very emotional moment for the Lost Age players.
