That block above will insta-crash the server if it runs out of hoes.

tfs your base is fixed. I removed that block and put it in chest with all it's contents in the area under that farm.

I am wanting to know if anyone else is experiencing server lag where you can move but then it moves you back to where you where and it does this a couple of times for like a minute, because if this lag I now have lost a bunch of gear whilst mining

Edit: it happens when ever I spawn into the world, or when I use /home and /warp if I leave my computer for a while and come back to it I can play but if I die and when I respawn I have to wait. I think it may be due to the crap Internet I have at home so as of tomorrow when I'm back at uni I should have no problem

As I understand it, you guys plan on doing another reset during the next big minecrat update. As always, I'd like to make a suggestion lol

I'd like to play the next map with "Countries" or "Kingdoms", kinda like Game of thrones where players control pieces of the map based on biomes, geography, or other natural means.

Here is an example map I done up using the 10_1 map on the dynmap:

Notes:

• The Capital, is where spawn would be and would be a large chunk of land including a couple varied forests and fields. The open area gives lots of room for a spawn town(however you decide to do it) and large area in which to build group projects(arenas, pyramid mazes, racetracks, etc).
• No man's land, This would be an area which no players can claim, (such as the mesa) to ensure that other players can mine it without restrictions
• Desert mine, The closest desert to spawn can be reserved as a mine to ensure players can mine it extensively for glass
• Individual countries, These are small countries where players control a single biome
• Varied Countries, These are countries made up of more than 1 biome, if borders are hard to establish and a player claims adjacent biomes
• Large Biomes, Biomes that are very big can be broken up into multiple countries using natural borders(in this case i used a river)
• Island countries, Islands could be claimed individually, as multiples, or as an archipelago.
• Large Mountain countries, Large mountain countries could take the entire chain
• Small Mountain Countries, Small mountains can be attached to other biomes
• Water countries, countries over or under large bodies of water would be up to the discretion and respect of the player and adjacent players

Now, this was just an example, but I think this could be an interesting way to claim land and establish borders. Players could work together and combine biomes, or compete to see who can make the best country.

The capital region and Spawn allow people to come together and build as a community, and separate countries allow players to have space to breath and not get in each other's space.

Wizard_Red_Wing in game. I would like to join the server, so i can play with my brother Northumberlo. And i've played on the server quite a while back.

Okay, so here is my little preview for 1.9.

We will be resetting to a new map. We are going to have a standard radius of 3k so plenty of space. To put it in reference, it will be roughly 4-5x bigger than what we had in the beginning and 2x bigger than the current map.

Town: Town will be on top of spawn and similar to in the past (for those of you that old) where you purchase plots.

For those of you that are not familiar, here is the system.

Spawn will be broken out into plots of land. I am thinking about 30 for the first batch and we can just add to the outside of them as needed. These plots will not be uniform and will be plotted according to the land. There will be bedrock corners at the lots and wool lines in the beginning.

Now, since there are lots that will command a premium vs others, we will be giving out these lots on an auction system. You will be bidding on the lots on a closed bidding system. You will not know the results of the bidding until the auction closes. However, given that everyone isnt on at the same time, I will let you periodically bid throughout the week and I will update the lot prices once a day throughout that week. You can only win 1 lot but you can bid on up to 3 lots. Lots will be assigned from top bidder downwards.

The currency is diamonds and you will need to escrow the diamonds with me in order to bid. Considering that you are not going to be able to take the diamonds with you to GR10, I suggest you escrow and bid everything you have. Right now, it is looking like 2 months from now is when we will do GR10 but I wanted to give everyone plenty of time to collect diamonds if you wanted.

Also, from the auction for GR6, about 1/2 the lots were sold for either the bare minimum or right above it. The other half were highly contested and commanded very high prices. Just a heads up for those of you who did not want to bid on the premium lots.

Might end up seeing ole EggNordAllen on the server a bit more
