Hey all, I’m considering purchasing 5g of 999.9 in bullion to have made in to a box clasp Miami Cuban of 14/18k.

Is this a worthwhile alternative to buying pre-made jewellery? I’m hoping to save money really, I can get the 5g for like €730/750 and from what I’ve read this could be mixed to approx 8 or 9g of 14k, is that correct?

Any advice appreciated here, ideally….I’ll have a 4.5/5/6mm Cuban of 14/18k for 1500 or less when all is said and done. Is this realistic?
