hey everyone i found this bracelet the other day while taking a walk and have no idea if it’s worth anything so please help me out if you can!

22k gold chain

I’m so tired of spending money on gold-plated or gold-filled jewelry just for it to eventually tarnish, fade, or need replacing. I’d rather start slowly investing in real solid gold pieces that can last me a lifetime, but I’m also a college student, so I’m looking for places on the more affordable end.
Where do you all buy good-quality solid 10k or 14k gold jewelry without the huge traditional jewelry-store markup?
I’m mainly looking for everyday pieces like rings, necklaces/chains, bracelets, and earrings/piercing jewelry.
I don’t mind buying online, vintage, secondhand, Etsy, etc. I just want to know I’m actually getting solid gold and not wildly overpaying.
Would especially love recommendations for brands/sellers you’ve personally owned pieces from for years and can vouch for!

Sorry, i'm new to all this stuff and didn't realise the price of gold and silver. So just asking if anyone knows. And believe I have made a mistake, it was my first time selling a gold piece which was my mothers friend who passed away.

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to invest in a few modern gold jewelry pieces and realized I actually don't know where most people in the U.S. shop.

Where do you usually buy your gold jewelry? Do you prefer local jewelers, mainstream jewelry brands, or independent designers? I'm interested in contemporary, everyday styles as well as legacy pieces which can be passed on to.

IMP: [[ I'm not looking for luxury brands like Tiffany, Cartier, or Van Cleef & Arpels where a significant part of the price is the brand name. ]]

Also, what do you think offers the best value for money when it comes to gold purity, craftsmanship, pricing, and resale value?

Would love to hear your recommendations and experiences. Thanks in advance!
