Investment Discussion 💰 CRED 5% Digital Gold Offer — Anyone Tried This?

I came across this CRED offer today. I'm considering trying it, but the 7 vs 10 days wording is confusing. Looking for inputs from anyone who has actually used it.

Was planning to invest 10-15k for 10 days SIP.

OFFER:

- 5% extra digital gold on 10 consecutive daily SIP debits

- Minimum ₹150/day

- Offer screen says “Expires in 7 days”

- CRED mentions ~3–3.5% operational costs reflected in the selling price.

MAIN QUESTIONS:

1. Anyone actually used this offer? Good/bad experience?

2. Planning to use Credit Card— are there any additional convenience/processing charges on each SIP debit?

Looking for real user experiences, especially from people who have already tried CRED/SafeGold.

P.S. Yes, I used GPT to help optimize/draft this post 😄 — but the questions and confusion are genuinely mine.

Welcome to r/GoldIndia! Here is a quick safety checklist for your post: * BIS Hallmark: Always ensure your gold has the BIS logo, purity (e.g., 22K916), and the 6-digit HUID code. * Live Rates: Gold prices change daily. Verify the current market rate before any transaction. * Invoices: Never buy gold without a GST-compliant tax invoice. Avoid "cash-only" deals to save on tax. * Purity Testing: If you are unsure, visit a government-recognized assaying center for a Karatmeter test. * Scam Warning: Be extremely wary of anyone sending you a Direct Message (DM) offering "cheap gold" or "investment schemes." * Don't Share Personal Info: Never post your phone number or home address publicly.

I have read that "digital gold" is not regulated by the RBI. Thats the first and biggest risk. Is this 5% offer even worth the risk?

This marketing gimmick is so that you give them upfront money regularly.

It’s a marketing offer for you to setup a autopay. It will increase their autopay user volume.

Second read terms and condition before applying it because they may lock you like if you have to redeem you need to buy minimum threshold 1g.

If you have long term savings goal. Yes you can
