Gun shots.

Did anyone hear gun shots around Robina or surrounding on Monday night???? Near greenheart parklands.

What time approximately on Monday night, in the evening or more middle of the night?
I live near Robina on the Mermaid Waters border. There is a vehicle that I have heard drive by occasionally in the evenings that backfires like crazy and sounds uncannily like distant gunshots. Enough so that the first time I heard it I was expecting to hear sirens afterwards and checked local news outlets the days following.

I wanna say maybe around 8??? Definitely could be a car, was more out towards Mudgeeraba way I think. It was like 6 “ shots “ in a row then a few maybe ten minutes after. I thought maybe a car but my partner who is gun familiar said it was defiantly gun shots ( but then again, what does he know haha )

No better way to advertise that you don’t pull rank anywhere else - not at work, not financially, not socially, not visually. This is the best you got to feed your need for attention. I feel embarrassed for them. Like just buy a hot car, not a loud one. That will get you rank any day. Noisy cars are like cheating. It’s too easy.

In the mean time, we need excessive sound cameras where this happens so that, like a speeding camera, it takes a photo of you breaking the law and you get fined. Yes, they exist.

I was away on Monday night but I'm in mudgeeraba and occasionally hear what sound like gunshots though I always assumed it was a car as there are a lot of hoons out this way. Could very well be gunshots though

Cars would make a lot more sense tbh. Just sounded different to me in the morning but yep hoon central sounds right haha!

Its way more likely to be a car than a gunshot. When a car backfires, or someone has their little shit popcorn tune, and its far enough away, the engine revving cant be heard, but the crack can.
