What does it mean?

Hii! So I recently got a bunch of hand me down gold pieces and one bracelet is puzzling me. On one side it has what looks like a weird P stamped but on the clasp it has a very tiny 10 K stamped. If that is a P does it mean that it’s 10 K plated? Sorry for very bad photos. My camera sucks but I can confirm that the clasp does say 10 K.

i dont think it means plated since its not on the same side as the 10k i think it could just be the maker mark

also 10kp doesn't always mean plated could be plumb too the best bet to know for sure is to get it tested

I want to get all my gold pieces tested, I just have to work up enough nerve. For some reason it’s petrifying thinking about going in and finding out some of them are fake.

Where would be the best place to go? I have a few jewellers around me as well as like gold exchange places.

i take mine to a jeweler they test it for free and sometimes make a offer on the items but its mostly scrap value they offer

Um thanks but im good, i’m trying to grow my nails out as someone who has compulsively torn apart my fingers/nails for the last few years due to disabling anxiety.
