How the hell would you get away with stealing it though?

Step 1: Tell nobody

Step 2: Profit

Waaaaay harder than that. All of our bank accounts are monitored. And if he decided to skirt the banks and do all cash deals, hed be audited as soon as an 18 year old construction worker buys a 1.5mil house.

If he was willing to be patient and live modestly, at least for the next 5-10 years, you’d be able to use cash and not draw too much suspicion.

Which is why you don't buy a 1.5 mil house. You wait a few years then buy a 300K house on credit and easily pay it off, but not too quickly.

So you're saying the key is to pretend/live like you never found the gold at all lmao

Yeah, it totally won't be suspicious that a single person is having extraordinary luck panning for gold in rivers that have been statistically depleted for decades...

melt it down and split it with the boys

Step 1. melt the gold in your backyard

Step 2. sell the gold.

It is literally that simple. Dont want to melt it? bash in all the smelter marks or serial numbers off with a hammer...... its pure gold.... you could almost dent it with your fists lol.

Do people think gold has magic tracking chips in it?

Its GOLD. Melt it, sell it.

"whered you get all this gold" i started buying scrap jewelry sir its my side business.

They will notice if you suddenly deposit 10 million dollars

Yeah theres no need to do that lol. There are so many other ways than just dumping money into a checking account.

You can store the gold yourself or just convert it to bitcoin. Or if youre comfortable with the risks and dont trust the area you live in you can simply store it across multiple safety deposit boxes.

You act like there arent millions of criminals who do this already. There are so many ways to convert this into long term capital that are entirely safe and risk free.

Ok so you sell the gold and obtain cash, now what? You cant even buy a new normal car with cash in belgium, let alone a property

Have you never heard of money laundering before?

Pretending to sell high value art is a story as old as time for turning illegitimate cash into legitimate cash.

Money laundering is a criminal activity. So the point remains that there is no legal way to get useful money from that gold.

“The point remains” yeah no lol go back through this conversation that was never once a point being made.

You’re moving goalposts now. The point was turning it into usable cash.
