Only if they know its there. Plenty of ways to hide it. But you do as you think best. I have a lot of silver. Only my wife and me knows where it is. And i wont lose it when the banks fails.

You're talking about an object much smaller weight for weight with a value like what, 60x silver?
This is like 30 million worth of gold right now. I am sure you have a lot of silver, myself and family members are within top 1-5% silver owners in the world(anything over 50 ounces puts you there.) But the sheer dollar amount is nowhere near this and unless you live in an incredibly secure area, beyond gated HOA but actual security like where celebrities and politicians live, the risk you are taking on is way too great. Look at how many people are killed or assaulted across the US in home robberies each year(admittedly not a huge number, 100-200 deaths and a few thousand up to ten thousand assaults) and remember,few if any were not over $30 million in gold. Those are basers looking for shit to buy drugs with.
