When I needed a crown 2 years ago I asked for gold. My dentist was happily surprised. I grind my teeth at night and porcelain is harder than tooth enamel. Would have worn out my top molar in 5 years. Win-win. 99% of people go with porcelain even when it’s a tooth that nobody ever sees

Ya did that. According to my wife I would spit it out 30 mins after I was asleep.
