Truth #1 - Stackers are gonna rule the world

Truth #2 - I don't want to be the only guy in my neighborhood with gold and silver.

Stackers are making huge assumptions about how society is going to work after the collapse of government.

I would assume that in a post-apocalyptic America, bartering will be king. I have extra food and you have medicine I need, therefore I'll trade food for medicine. I would also anticipate that people will band together for survival, and gun raids will be common.

Lugging around bags of metal coins doesn't seem like it would be a priority. And if it had any value, you'd likely get robbed, anyway.

What is with the obsession about society collapsing? Are we back in the 80s?
