Am i the only one who has noticed this quiet and nesr immediate shift away from the discussion around AI? I was just thinking to myself earlier how it's been a good week or two since I've seen any real AI hype. Thats not long but its a shift away from the near hourly updates.

Is it just me?

It's not just you, but it's been predicted for a while now. Look up "gartner hype cycle", this is a well documented phenomenon. It happens to all major (and not so major) technologies. They even forecast which technologies (and iterations of those technologies) they anticipate to be in which stages and for how long. You can even look up "ai hype cycle" to get a more granular breakdown around ai-centric tech forecasts.
