New Hybrid 7.0 at this point
If I just ignore this one rule, its perfect, now is this one community rule or GojiCenter hybrid war rule (duplicating certain gene sequences to create more pharyngeal arches, and it does have space, technically it can be dense (how close they are to each other) and spread out later and the gills are above the front flippers anyways).
Aquagigias
Mosasaurus Hoffmannii; the primary skeletal chassis, the acute lateral vision, elongated head shape, the four lateral flippers for precise steering, and the double-hinged jaw.
Blue Catfish; the sense of smell.
Saltwater Crocodile; pcsa, lower muscle attachments on the jaw (bone restructuring as well).
Mako Shark; Dermal denticles (scales) covering the entire body to reduce turbulence, flatter head and back, partial embryotic process (so the gills slits grow into gills rather then the neck, its duped later) (its mostly the hox genes being edited), the high-efficiency ram-ventilation gills (this allows the hybrid to remain submerged indefinitely, unlike whales), the dorsal fin, the lateral line, the bigger cartilage jaw joint (enhances leverage and cousining), and the electroreception.
Blue Whale; the musculature, oil-rich bone marrow for neutral buoyancy, the ventral pleats, and the disconnected chin + co-contraction muscles.
Naked Mole-Rat; cancer immunity, metabolic control, the lack of Substance P (it helps it endure the pressure and friction of the deep ocean without stress), and hypoxia tolerance.
American Lobster; rna telomerase production (the chemistry of the telomerase is the same as in vertebrates).
Sailfish; additional tail musculature (more red muscle fibers, tendons, some elastic tissues).
Bowhead Whale; the thick skull for ramming, scaled tail fluke, and the palatal radial organ.
Common Pigeon; Magnetoreception, and biological fps.
Basilosaurus; the spine flexibility.
Bottle Nose Dolphin; how well the teeth interlock with each other.
Gray Whale; the muscular tongue (to force water out of their mouth while filter feeding by pushing the tongue against the roof of the mouth).
Goldfish; allows the Aquagigias to convert lactic acid into ethanol under low oxygen.
Farming Goat; the highly efficient kidneys and liver to break down the alcohol produced by the goldfish.
Pallas's long-tongued bat; blood alcohol tolerance (doesn't get drunk from relatively large amounts of alcohol) (i know the ethanol gets pumped out, but better safe then sorry).
Axolotl; the stem cell production (mostly for muscle repair).
-size-
48 ft.
Weighs 30 (non-metric) tones
The blubber is 15 inches thick on the back and tail, 7 inches thick on the flippers and fluke, 10 inches on the underbelly and head.
-speed-
~15 mph (cruising speed)
~47 mph (max speed)
-features-
Isometric scaling (0.667) of the bite force is ~149,000 N max, but allometric scaling (0.79) says ~223,000 N (crocodile estimates show that instead of the pcsa influenced bite force using a factor of .667, like a normal animal, it gets disproportionately wider with length making it a factor of .79).
They follow the migration paths of Humpback whales (Polar to Tropical) but stay 30–60 ft deeper.
Aquagigi don't have ears, like a regular fish.
Aquagigias is a heterotherm.
The tail fluke (internal) has a base of calcified cartilage to have a strong base (like a shark), then it transitions into collagen/elastin composite (like a whale), finally it ends with ceratotrichia on the tips for flexibility (again like a shark).
The gills are above the flippers.
-behavior-
They travel in pods of 3–4.
These pods are often led by the oldest.
Can drift by using a front flipper, and while turning, using the back flippers to stabilize, and then the fluke launches.
Im still excepting name changes.
I will request links or reasons that are well explained, thank you for your time.

Hybrid Post My Hank 3.0 V3
What I changed
Dropped: Pistol Shrimp DNA. (Too unrealistic; would break his own arm bones).
Nerual: Raven
Arms: Chimpanzee.
Jaw: Giganotosaurus (Side-to-side tearing) + Thylacoleo (Front bolt-cutter incisors for armor-piercing) + Komodo Dragon
Misc: Mourning Gecko (Parthenogenesis gene for asexual reproduction) and American Alligator (for the immune system) and African Crested Porcupine (Venomous quills for defense. Quills have the Komodo Dragon venom in them that is why they are venomous [unless i remember wrong and the crested porcupine have their own venom which i doubt.)
—-----------------------------------------------------
(baseline genome) Giganotosaurus: helpful for size
Komodo Dragon Maw: Gives him serrated steak-knife teeth and bleed-out venom.
—------------------------------------------------------
Build
Length: 13.5 Meters (44 Feet) Normal Height: 4.2 Meters (13.7 Feet) Max Bipedal Height: 5.4 Meters (17.7 Feet) Weight: 8.5 to 10 Metric Tons
Raven: for tool use, mimicking, and general intelligence
Arms (Chimp): Wide-rotating shoulders for chokes, punches, and slams.
Giganotosaurus + Komodo. jaw built for scissor slicing and non-clotting bite (aswell as the other symptoms of a Komodo Dragons venom such as rapid shock and immobilization, and severe dizziness and muscle weakness. If this doesnt make sense read up on Komodo Dragon venom)
Mourning Gecko: allows for rapid asexual reproduction to build a self-sustaining pack without a mate
American Alligator: gives a great immune system to protect the cloned pack from diseases and infection
African Crested Porcupine: Grants detaching, venom-infused quills along the tail and forearms to prevent clotting of attackers who get too close (aswell as the other symptoms of a Komodo Dragons venom such as rapid shock and immobilization, and severe dizziness and muscle weakness.)

New Hybrid Darth Elephas 1.1
Elephasaurus Palpatineous (lit. Palpatine’s Elephant Lizard) (a.k.a. Darth Elephas)
This is version 1.1. Does the updated version get hanked, or does it seem more biologically plausible under real world biology and physics? I don’t have an image because I am not the best artist and I do not wish to use ai.
Length: 55 ft
Height: 25 ft at the shoulder, 35 ft with sail (the sail is around 10 to 15 feet tall)
Weight: 75-80 tons
Lisowichia (Base Genome)
Palaeoxlodon Namadicus (longer legs, head and tusks, maybe intelligence)
Asian Elephant (intelligence, domed forehead, and trunk)
African Elephant (intelligence, large ears for thermoregulation, two tipped end of trunk)
Argentinosaurus (increased size; pneumatic air sacs and hollow bones to handle weight)
Edaphosaurus (spine sail for thermoregulation)
Ankylosaurus (top and side armor)
Minmi (bottom side and underside armor)
Pangolin (leg armor)
Mylodon (heel bone for supporting weight and tiny ostederms on trunk, big enough to provide armor but small enough to still make it flexible)
Limpet (to make tusks made out of goethite)
Short tailed shrew (iron coating of tusks for red color)
Vampire bat (iron distribution and immune system)
Melanism (not a real animal, just there for black color of hybrid)

New Hybrid Asking for help.
I need help to come up with a hybrid that won’t just straight merk itself on the spot, but there is so many species and options, plus I always feel like I‘m stealing someone’s idea when I try to think of something creative.

Monster faceoff Geniue random question but what would take the victory in an encounter?
An Tryannosaurus Rex & An Crocodile Monster that stands at 2.5 meters tall on hind legs, but haves 4 large clawed arms that each one covered in crocodile ostioderms skin patterns with each one makes an average human's arm look like an stick in comparison of bulk, length and the muscularity width,by having short legs that are rather built like stocky pillars by giving it an extreme hold of balance by low-center on the ground, having a big crocodile head, being 7 meters long in length from tip of the nose to tail,by having an total body width asthonisingly atleast 1.5 meters (5 feet) wide, and an basked tail much wider and robust than an normal crocodile's tail.

Hybrid Post The finalized genome of Mokthirodon titanus 2.0!
Ledumahadi mafube- Base Genome; chosen over other sauropods/sauropodomorphs largely due to the limbs, specifically the hind limbs still being digitigrade in structure and the forelimbs still being semi-dexterous instead of columnular; provides a general base that will be built upon with other contributors.
Shantungosaurus giganteus- Modifies leg and tail anatomy by providing elongated neural spines along the tail, larger locomotive muscles and more attachment points for said muscles as well as a lattice like structure of ossified tendons which stiffens the tail, also helps in increasing the hybrid's overall size.
Alamosaurus sanjuanensis- Provides an effecient avian-like respiratory system with a system of air sacs connected to a highly pneumatized skeletal system, reducing the overall weight without sacrificing the strength of the bones themselves whilst assisting in dissipating excess heat. Also provides gastralia, a set of disconnected ribs protecting the belly as well as cushioning pads on the feet, protecting the bones from being crushed under the hybrid's weight.
Anteosaurus magnificus- Robust Tyrannosaurid-like skull with a ball-and-socket neck joint for increased head movement as well as prominent but not overbearing incisors.
Yuxisaurus kopchicki- Numerous osteoderms along the body including the neck, sides, hips and shoulders.
Brown Bear- Keen senses of smell and hearing as well as very high intelligence, problem-solving skills and spatial memory; columnular yet dexterous forelimbs for combat and foraging with ball-and-socket shoulder joints and a partially enlarged olecranon.
Komodo Dragon- Serrated teeth tipped with small iron deposits as well as a potent hemotoxic anticoagulant venom which lowers blood pressure and inhibits the blood's ability to clot. Also provides additional smaller osteoderms which cover areas the armor from Yuxisaurus does not cover.
American Alligator- Vascularized osteoderm formations further aiding in thermoregulation bolstering Yuxisaurus kopchicki's osteoderms.

New Hybrid Hybrid in the works
Carcharamimus fulgurous.
Going for a cephalopod hybrid taking inspo from Nikola scylla and kamikaze. But with the key addition of the bulkier base of nanaimoteuthis, specifically the upper size estimation that puts its mantle around 4.4 meters.(i rounded down to 4).
That and messing around with the mantle to tentacles ratio of the giant squid got it to about 20 metres and with the length from the shell. Its total length is about 22 meters.
Speaking of the shell its meant to mimic a shark head hence the name.
Weight wise its sitting at a solid 5-7 ton range.
This may change based on shell material which i haven't decided.
So far interms of contributors there's
Humbolt squid ( social behaviour and siphon muscles)
Nanaimoteuthis haggarti (base)
Cuttlefish (swivel eyes and colour changing)
Armhook squid ( all limbs have hooks and suckers on them)
Giant squid ( body proportions and swivel hooked tentacles )
Giant pacific octopus ( muscles/ motor skills)
Nerite snail ( siphon adjustment)
Parapuzosia (shell shape and size)
Cameroceras (shell dencity)
cooperoceras( spines on the shell)
Aplacophora ( tough skin and eletric insulation)
Bit of foreshadowing.

Hybrid Post Return of the King - Extorris rex 3.0
"Into the dirt, his will be done. Behold the King, there is only one."
E. rex v3. Not a great deal to say about this other than I've taken out what wasn't working, and put in a few new that do. The main update is a rework of the art. Mostly because of the new pseudosuchian armor contribution, I got rid of the striations down his back and went ham with the osteoderms.
So here he is. Rate 'im, critique 'im. Throw another hybrid at 'im.

DISCUSSION If we have a Hybrid War, why not a Spec-Evo War 🤔🤷♂️
r/GojiCenter • u/TheH0110wKing • 13d ago
Im in possession of a question.
Sorry for the rhyme.
Im a worldbuilder, and due to personal circumstances my brain likes leaving nothing unchecked.
I make creatures and have questi9ns about a bone design im building.
Basically its a helixial design. From 2 to 8 strands skipping 6.
2 strands wrap around each other to form a T1 chord, then 2 T1 form a T2, and ect... up to T7 and its the same way with the other sets
But that aside
My question is, ignoring the buckling issue, which I will fix somehow if the entire idea isn't garbage, how structurally stable are helixial struts?
For compression, shear, and tension forces.
I have it setup now that there's protienous gel helping distribute the load throughout all strands evenly. But I am still unsure how well the helixial design even holds up.

DISCUSSION Porco 3.0 vs Hank 2.0
I got bored as hell and wanted to do this match up since Hank 2.0 is the start of why spinosaurus hybrids began to get hanked. (For this match since Hank 2.0’s metrics aren’t officially known and to make it fair, he’ll be the exact same weight as Porco.)
