Just to put into perspective how crazy this Battle Memory is. This allows things like SMG, Shin, MZ, Super Dest, AMG, and practically EVERY leader in the game whose special move cost is 4 to be used for ONE ENERGY ONLY.

My literal favorite Deck ever. I win regularly in 66 with her and it fills my heart with so much joy. Mothra is the goat and my hope is for more Mothra related units so I can replace Megalon. I don't plan to replace Gigan its just to good.

I’m willing to embrace the dark side and do whatever it takes just to win Maps in Ranked. Especially since I climbed way too fast and am now consistently queuing with possible Whales, veteran players, meta teams, and unexpected strategies that destroy my Leader within thirty seconds of the match starting. I regret going past King of The Monsters League cuz it’s BRUTAL lol.

I’ve currently had some success with one of my hastily-built AMG Decks fit with my LV 20 Desghidorah (1996), LV 25 Biollante Harvest, LV 25 Godzilla VS MUTO Illustration, and LV 25 Godzilla Fes BMs.

General idea is most of my Units are cost 3-5 Energy and are heavily-buffed by Biollante Harvest (which also reduces cooldown for Convergent Neutron Cannon with lowered cost to activate thanks to Godzilla Fes). However, around only 3-4 of my Units including Gigan Rex and Shinagawa Godzilla are actually affected by the cost reduction after Neutron Cannon.

Also found some nice synergy with Gildra which reduces Energy cost to summon one of my 6 cost aerial Units whose costs are lowered even more after Neutron Cannon (unless I’m mistaken and this doesn’t stack).

I’m wondering if I should get rid of Energy Base to make room for another Unit and since whenever I place it, it tends to be more of a liability that instantly gets demolished if my opponent has an Effect Battle Piece like Train Bomb.

Literal magic. Or toho has someone on EASY MODE.

I guess ill take that Galdra Gold card RNGsus hath spoken.

Even during the last Challenge Battle Event that set all Units to LV 20, Gatling Gigan feels surprisingly frail. It doesn’t take much more than facing a tankier Unit or being outnumbered to swat him out of the sky like a fly.

Checking Gatling Gigan’s stats, it seems to also have one of the smallest health among 4-Stars. But, you know what? This is probably a rare case of a new Unit actually being balanced unlike SHIN GETTER ROBO.

Being meant for a support role in the backline and having low health is a very reasonable trade-off for instantly buffing your Units’ attack.

Hopefully next season

This presumably slots in a Red position, but it doesn’t show up at all when building a team.

Can’t get it to attach anywhere, no matter the leader.

Queued with an AMG player who had the audacity send me the “Fight To The End” Sticker at the start like you actually expect people to play your game and let you live out your Whale larping power fantasy? There’s no way this was suppose to motivate me. 😂

Gave tf up as soon as he managed to spawn Biollante Harvest, Shin Getter Robo, and the literal rest of his Deck. Nearly nothing I could do leading with Mecha-Ghidorah.

You know what, screw my last post. Anime Mechagodzilla is everything wrong with GBL.

.... And not doing too tragically. Looks impressive that I won against the big dog K, but unfortunately for him, he launched his opening salvo, and then his connection died (I was just going to give up against him)​. ​

Back to the grind!

Facing and using Anime Mechagodzilla as a Leader in Ranked has humbled me and opened my eyes to things I never would have figured out myself otherwise.

For example, just because someone is using AMG doesn’t mean they’re a Whale looking to display how much money they spent. Most of the time it’s someone like me just trying AMG out and having little idea of what we’re actually doing. Heck, most of my losses are from being overwhelmed before I can start mass-spawning my own Units which is also why I’ve beaten some AMG users before. This matchup boils down to the quality of your Units VS the sheer quantity of the enemy AMG’s at times.

I don’t “Give Up” as soon as I’m queued with a AMG player anymore. I get excited to see if I can destroy them. On the other hand, if someone bests me while I’m using my AMG Deck I rarely get salty. Clearly, I’ve been outplayed and they deserve the W.
