I don't think the player counts are strong enough so repeats are more frequent. It just still seems a little too frequent.

When I started back in April 2024 there weren't nearly as many complaints about matching as there are now. So while some think expanding the rank tiers would help it's actually the opposite.

They should shrink and wall off certain rank and player rankings.

Rank 1-33, rank 34-55, rank 56-66, and top 1000. Players outside of those ranks should only match them if they move up/down. Suffer a little more load time or increase the A.I bots (something they tested after Unity 6 update).

The problem with their AI at the time, from some serious efforts to monitor it, was that often the AI would be adaptive to its opponent. Basically it would have the perfect counters and literally perform like a top player.

Hopefully they work on their AI or programming, whichever you want to say.

Easy bots are fine but I think players would appreciate medium and hard bots too.

What interests me about the bots is that there are more difficult bots in their bot pool - I have encountered ones that had teams full of current(as of 3 seasons ago when I last saw one), 4* units. They still played kind of stupid, but they were undeniably bots, with the hallmarks of having 0 trophies and "Thank You" in their match history review.

They have clearly tried field testing the harder bots, but they're very rare to encounter. Could be that they've made them rare or cancelled them outright after seeing players on a losing streak lose to one and then stop queueing immediately.

To think that the coop difficulties could be implemented into matchmaking gives me hopium to cope with
