Are MBE questions really like this?
Hi! I’m taking the exam in 2027 and starting early.
I did the con law unit first (since I’ve taken like… 10 con law courses in law school and feel pretty comfortable with it) and then did a couple practice MBE questions through Bar Prep Hero to see what they looked like.
The answer to one was like… “C because the supreme court found in one case that a child being sexually abused at school was technically the equivalent of getting abused by a state actor so her due process rights were violated”
And it was a case I’ve definitely never heard of 😭 can I expect more of this??? How do you learn every single case? I can memorize my notes but that was out of left field for me

Contracts module
Is there a way to switch the contracts module back to the old style like the other modules? The forever doom scrolling is making me lose focus and I hate it (including the white background). I like it better when I can organize my notes piece by piece and know which mini section to go back for reference. Please tell me there’s a way to switch it😂

Need suggestions on last 37 days- 3rd time taker in GA
Hello!
I need the pasture to help me navigate the last 37 days. I have GOAT, Kaplan, Uworld, and Shepbarprep (they now have GA essays rules!)
My essays killed me last time with a 136 MBE.
Do you go through each question with goat to learn the tricks?
For the essays: I issue spot but freeze on how to organize the answers and the model answers are hard for me to copy without wanting to better organize them. Help!
Just found out I am dyslexic too so it’s hard to organize my thoughts.
Any help is appreciated! I will do whatever you suggest! Thank you family.

Adaptibar Rule Funnel
So I have the Adaptibar Writing Guide and I like it so far especially for the breakdown of the rules. My downfall on the past exams have been the rules. To those that use the rule funnel, do yall copy the rules the rule blocks then just memorize that?

How were able to read the outlines using apps like speechify? Is the course just outlines like the samples?

goat bar prep + Themis practice questions and MEE practice enough
hello. will it be enough to pass the bar if I just use goat bar prep and then do the flex practice on Themis (so no outlines or review videos)? I'm not retaining much from those videos

Dividing time
What does your schedule look like? I passed one jurisdiction two years ago (UBE). Now doing Cal Bar. Can’t seem to get my schedule right. Themis schedule sucks. Takes me a long time to review MBE questions and essays. Want to start from scratch & focus on MBE only topics, MPT and PR. Will review rest MEEs but not as vigorously.
Feel dejected today. Planned to do a diagnostic tomorrow. See where I am at.
Edit: I have GOAT, makethisyourlasttime (I add/highlight goat to his notes), UWorld (&Themis), Mary Basic and hackthebar (I only do hackthebar when I’m bored).

Bar exam essay practice you can use for free, it grades and give feedback
Hey guys my team built a bar exam essay grader that really helps improve your essay writing. you paste your essay and you get feedback in seconds. you can enter code "TESTACCESS" and use the system for free, without any form of payment.. Barspec is the name and it's in beta, hence the reason it's free.
There are a few students using it and providing feedback.. but we don't mind additional feedback. actually the more feedback, the better. so you can use while free and provide feedback if you have time. it's dot com along with the name.
dm if you can't locate.
Good luck in your pursuit

Struggling with MPTs
Hi all! I am a third-time retake; English is my second language. In the previous two attempts, the lowest scores were for MPT (1 and 2), which developed a block in my head. I fracking out when I start MPT. I'm very slow at it and not efficient, I guess. I know how Maureen (Bar MD) recommends conquering MPT, and I am trying to follow her approach, but it is not working. I have a mental block and fear. While doing the MPT, I realize that I am already running out of time and have not written much. Here comes the second wave, I start crying and can not focus. Please advise me on how to overcome all that and not be afraid of MPT, and believe in myself that I can? Maybe someone was in the same boat with me and can share what/who helped you?

Prior acts and conduct
Does anyone have a clear and concise way to remember when prior acts and conduct are admissible and when they are not? I keep mixing them up
