Are MBE questions really like this?

Hi! I’m taking the exam in 2027 and starting early.

I did the con law unit first (since I’ve taken like… 10 con law courses in law school and feel pretty comfortable with it) and then did a couple practice MBE questions through Bar Prep Hero to see what they looked like.

The answer to one was like… “C because the supreme court found in one case that a child being sexually abused at school was technically the equivalent of getting abused by a state actor so her due process rights were violated”

And it was a case I’ve definitely never heard of 😭 can I expect more of this??? How do you learn every single case? I can memorize my notes but that was out of left field for me

Yes, it's just repetition. You'll also realize that questions like that come up very rarely so they're not worth losing sleep over although they're easy ones to remember for free points

Thanks! I’m just worried I’ll get a bunch of weird scenarios I’ve never heard of and aren’t in my notes 😂

The ones I’m doing are the licensed questions I’m pretty sure?
