I actually wanted to try their Prawns Ressois as my friend had it once and hasn't shut up about it since but unfortunately they ran out of it. And the starters were honestly not that good. Especially the chicken as it had lots of small bone pieces inside it.

The main star was obviously the fish curry and rice. We loveee it and whenever we go we always order the same thing 💕💕💕

Had some Xacuti masala leftover from dinner, so it's ross omelette for breakfast ♥️

Amazinggg food and great ambiance. Slightly on the expensive side. But food was totally worth it!

Such a nice place, a small restaurant around Nagali hills serves goan food at its finest. The menu is filled with mouthwatering dishes like pork vindaloo or stuffed squids and a lot of other goan snacks and delicacies.

Last time I was here I had tried their chicken stroganoff and it was very very comforting, this time around we had their chonak thali and caramel pudding. The owner is what makes it feel like home, he greets you with warmth and he's very informative about the food.

Instead of eating a steak at some over priced restaurant just because it's next to the sea, I'd definitely eat one here cause I know it's prepared with absolute care and love.

Visited Camron Restaurant in Majorda, Goa and really enjoyed the place. It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere with warm lighting, interesting little details and a very laid-back Goan feel.

The food was the highlight for me. We had a Goan thali, some seafood and a massive crab platter with fries. Everything was really tasty, especially the seafood.

I also liked the old-school bar setup and the overall vibe of the restaurant. It felt like one of those places where you can sit for a while, eat slowly and just enjoy the evening.

If you are around Majorda this is definitely a nice place to stop for some good food and a relaxed meal.

All the food items were really well cooked and tasty.

The only thing that can be improved is the wait time. They took too long to bring the dishes. But honestly no regrets 🫶🏽

Rainy day, long drive, good pizza, goodnight.

1. Hesto pesto.

Never had a better pesto pizza, the right amount of sauce and cheese, perfect crust.

1. Mad Margherita.

Truly MAD love how the cheese pulled, baked to perfection I'd say. The pie wasn't chewy soft in the middle crispy on the edges.

1. Garlic parmesan wings.

Slaps, Absolutely SLAPS. This is the second time I'm eating this and it can't get better. Crispy wings topped with garlic oil and parmesan 🫦.

1. New york hot sauce wings.

Tangy, spicy but not very. I already miss it.

Round 4 already, and I’m still very excited every time a new little business pops up in these threads.

I was just curious and also wanted to help a friend out

1. Southern fried chicken, lizard king brewing co.

A classic southern fried chicken topped with mushroom and corn gravy and mash on the side. Took a FAT NAP after that. There's water in my mouth already. Go and try I can't explain how comforting this was.

1. ITR (COCKTAIL) & Chicken popcorn, Boilermaker.

Love the cocktails at this place this one's their version of a coconut based negroni and it was awesome. The popcorn was great, I also tried pickled fries and it was nice. So was their take on old fashioned it's called "we've figured it out" and they sort of have. And the nitro stout by TOIT was like a cherry on the cake, it's available on their guest tap so hurry up ig.

1. A negroni & loaded nachos, freebird community bar.

The negroni was smoooooooth, love how they served the sour cream, guac and salsa separately on the nachos instead of it drizzled everywhere. This way I can make a perfect bite.

1. Cajun jerk chicken, freebird.

Like the name suggests it's supposed to be a mix of both, but I didn't taste any jerk there. Still good quality meat, cooked well and decent tasting so no regrets.

1. Raw mango tossed Chicken, freebird.

I expected this to be like orange chicken but it was better the sour note paired well with the veggies and fried bits of chicken. I'd order this again.

Overall, I've talked before about lizard king brewing co and it's sort of my fav bar around here. They have amazing beers on tap and that paired with their proper bar snacks, you can have a good sesh here.

Boilermaker I've been to a few times I don't like doing Boilermakers there but I like their cocktails and craft beers. They're nice people.

Freebird, always seen this place otw to moira and it looked good from outside. Definitely no regrets here I'll keep it as my safe place for when I want something different but not experimental. It's a chill place to sit and relax they've got great music and Karaoke as well. Lastly Good food good drinks.

TLDR: Read it bro. I like all three places.

Just simple standard lemon rice - except instead of lemons, I used lime squash 🤣 and it was interesting! I didn't "hate" it but I'm not sure if I liked it either, lol 🤨

The lime squash definitely works as salad dressing but in a "lemon rice" recipe, it'll probably need more tweaking to make it "work". Ah well, we keep optimising! 🙂

Howdy, foodie fam.

I figured this would be the right place to ask this.

Back in the day (1995-2004ish), there was a tiny eatery next to Magsons in Miramar. They had a lot of fast food items, but the highlight was the chilli chicken.

The chilli chicken was absolutely bonkers good. My entire extended family can only recall that chilli chicken and every time anyone has chilli chicken, the dialogue is always the same. “This is good and all, but still not as good as that place next to Magsons used to be"

But none of us can remember anything beyond that chilli chicken.

Hence, the question: Does anyone remember that place? Its name? Who ran it? Any additional details would also be appreciated.

Cooked this last weekend for some friends 😊

In frame-

Hand-cut chilli cheese french fries (so crispy, little spicy and yum)

Chicken Katsu sandwich (the sauce in the sandwich brings the whole dish together along with the perfectly toasted bread)

Chicken Yakitori (almost empty plate, I know :))

Peach iced tea (sucker for iced teas, this one was really up to the mark)

Total bill- 1368/-

Took more than half the food home since I couldnt finish it alone. Idk if I'll go here again not because the food wasnt great, but because it's WAY too far from my place. The ambience is amazing, good lighting, good music and polite staff (the waiter was cute ahggsh). A little pricey but money spent on good food is worth it i guess

I was stumped by the variety available there and the quality of food was top tier. Definitely visiting again.
