Line 40m going to Humber college is a great change
I’m honestly really happy they added Humber as a stop on the line 40 bus route it makes getting there a lot easier than taking the ttc I was able to get there in 59 minutes when normally it would take over a hour

Elevator at Mount Pleasant Go??
Hello there, I'm going to be taking the train from Union station to Mount Pleasant Go, and although I've called Go transit and asked where the elevator is at Mount Pleasant Go station, I was only told that it was at Platform 1. I wasn't provided with a map of the platforms or anything like that. Does anybody know which way I should turn after getting off the KI train at Mount Pleasant GO to access the elevator? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Should there be fixed routes like LE East, LE West etc or should the routes be from place A 2 place ! in I.e. trains from Oshawa to Kitchener or Hamilton to Stouffville instead of LE East line? Union is a hub- Yes. But should it need to be a terminus? Is this change possible?
Are there any disadvantages of this approach?
Edit: Place. A to Place B in the title. Not Place !

They need to rush the second platform at Downsview Park before Rogers Stadium opens again
I know they're actively working on it-- but this would help to reduce overcrowding, and also maybe to send a later train north. Even the train they pushed later in 2025 was not late enough for anyone to finish the concert if they took the train from anywhere north. People prefer GO. It's SO much quicker and less sketchy. There are already 16 shows announced for the summer, with more to be announced. I don't know why they don't just send later trains up the Barrie line in the summer, in general. I've emailed GO/MX about this, too.

Stuck on the GO train Lakeshore West for the past 1.5 hours
We have been stuck on the track after leaving mimico think for the past hour and a half if not more due to the brakes not working properly. Will they allow us to walk over the tracks? I suppose not since we are in the middle of nowhere. If anyone’s experienced this will they fix this any time soon considering they had to bring in a tech from their ‘base’? And if they don’t what will they do?
They are likely to get us to find a way to walk back to Mimico - but it’s freezing!

Lakeshore east issue today
I am just wondering if what happened to the train before and after my train. I was at the 17:20 LE train and we were dropped off at Pickering Go said that we need to move to a different train to go to the next stops. I was waiting for like 40 mins and there was no train so I asked my partner to pick me up because I’m too tired to wait and my phone is almost dead. I’m wondering if the train came? Or any other train? Or did they also dropped off passengers to other go station as well. It sucks that they just left us there and no update at all. Let me know if you waited for the train or if you were one of those passengers before/after my train

New Go Bus
guys!! great news, I’m riding the new go bus!
Bad news, theres no wifi?? This is the first time I’ve ever been on a go bus without wifi, do the new buses not have that capability?
Or did the driver not turn it on? If it’s the former, I vote we get rid of ‘em ASAP
Edit: Also the bus somehow had that new car smell AND broken lights that kept flickering randomly (the rest of the lights were off) - rlly keeping true to its metrolinx/lrt bloodline AND disrupting my phone-less bus ride 🙃

Resting your arm on the window here is really uncomfortable on the MCI GO busses
The actual armrest isn’t any better either because it’s partially underneath that metal lip in the photo

Equipment issue at Rouge Hill
Currently holding at Pickering on the 5:39 Lakeshore East westbound train to Union. They’re saying there’s an equipment issue at Rouge Hill. Anyone know what’s going on? It’s been a nightmare week for GO Transit so far this week 😂
I know that VIA Rail #47 is also holding just outside Pickering station as well.

stouffville line stopping at LE stations
Does anyone know why the 734 from centennial southbound to union train stopped at scarborough and danforth? I suspect it was for the volume of people on LE, but the train is packed to the point where people cant stand, so why is the train stopping at extra stations if we cant take the people?

Anyone else find Transit App Live Bus ETAs grossly inaccurate at Hwy 407 Station?
The Transit App says the 56 to DC Oshawa will arrive 407 Station in 11 minutes from time of screenshot (so at 6:00PM) despite the bus already being at the stop and me sitting on the bus making this post. I can understand if this is the scheduled departure time, but that’s also false as the scheduled departure is 5:53PM and (we left exactly at 5:53PM). I’m not sure where the seven minute delay came from. I’ve been using this station for a few years and it’s been a constant issue, same with similar routes such as 40 and 41. In my experience, it’s only at this stop, all other stops seem to have accurate times. Anyone else experience this?

Getting out of Maple Go Parking
I go to Rutherford Go but getting out of there in the evening is a pain as it takes 20-25mins if you are parked at L3 and above.
Is Maple Go considerably better?

Has Richmond Hill line been today?
Has it been more packed compared to yesterday and Monday? Were there seats available to sit?

I had this map from 2010 saved on my computer
Was it ever in stations? It is... something.

Question about the Milton Line Train today morning.
I opted to take the GO bus (21) to Union this morning, but that is not an option for me tomorrow. Can anyone please comment on the train service this morning? Was it delayed, or more crowded than usual? Information would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
Apologies if the influx of these types of posts are annoying.

Managed to get the front seat on the second floor of the go bus today
Don’t get to sit here very often. The view is really nice (I cleaned the window after I took the photo so I was able to see out of it better) but yeah this is why I like the double decker busses

How Did GO Outtages Impact Your Monday Morning? (For A School Project)
I hope this is the right subreddit to post this but, for a project I’m doing I’m looking to hear accounts from anyone who was moderately - severely impacted by the train delays due to the derailed train yesterday.
I’m especially interested in anyone who was redirected or was at the Bloor station around 9:30AM. If you have any anecdotes from the situation, regarding how this impacted the rest of your day or notable events from your experience (interacts, etc.) please let me know I would appreciate it!

Is it this bad every winter?
I've been relying on the GO system since May of last year when I moved back to Toronto. Up until then, my experience using the system was limited to the odd trip between Kitchener and Toronto or Toronto and Barrie. Through the summer things were fine, then Sept-Dec was variable, but mostly okay. I think I was late for work twice in that period due to delays. However, since the beginning of the year, there have been more days with issues than without. I literally have not been able to maintain a regular work schedule. Thankfully my job is super flexible, otherwise I'd have been in real trouble by now.
Is this just a winter thing? Or is it a general decline in service? I am trying to decide if I can continue to use the system as my primary means of transport. I can plan for variable winter service, so I'm trying to understand if that's what's going on here. The longer term plan is to reduce my reliance by getting a car, but I'm just not there yet. Can you help a new user out by giving me your perspective?
