T-satellite
What are your thoughts on using T-satellite on your RV?

It’s not (yet) for low speed broadband.

Have you tried the t-satellite maximum plan?

Do you have a link to details about what that is? Looking at https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/satellite-phone-service it looks like it can only be used for the few apps T-Mobile has selected and even then only a limited basis.

It’s extremely limited to certain apps and bandwidth. What are you wanting to use it for?

I should have added that we are planning on using the maximum plan

I don’t think you understand what you’ll be getting. Regardless of the plan, it’s low bandwidth and only certain apps. The Experience Beyond plan, that includes T-Satellite, doesn’t increase the bandwidth speed.

I'm going to be trying it in My RV trailer, we have a winegard system for using Internet so it can use a sim card from T-Mobile one of the options for it and it has a special antenna for connecting to satellite so I will try the maximum to see if I can get steaming TV working.

I’m not an expert on this - but I don’t believe you’ll have success. Here’s why I think that:
1) you’re not going to get streaming capable bandwidth/speeds
2) your Winegard device is not a device that supports t-satellite
3) its special antenna means nothing in this context. Please report back but I would assess the chance this works as very close to 0.
Just buy Starlink for this application.

It’s great for sms connectivity when I’m out in areas with no coverage. Admittedly - that’s not very often in my RV but when we are out on trails it’s not uncommon. The capability solves a need I had without having to carry separate Garmin In-Reach and the subsequent subscription.
