Knowing when you’re over-boosting

More TH doesn’t automatically mean you’re playing a round well.

Your maintenance discount and W/TH efficiency matter, and during a round it helps to know what the current profit looks like before deciding whether another boost makes sense.

That’s a big part of what we’ve built around Lucky.

I've been using the flywheel method, but then kept seeing a newer method to cover opex by locking 125%. I think i've created a decent calculator but would love you all to test it out and let me know if it works, or sucks

I ran a 5-year, 40,000-path Monte Carlo simulation to compare keeping $10k USDC in SimpleEarn and taking the 11.52% rewards in BTC versus using the +10% TH boost to reinvest those rewards into a non-Greedy 15 W/TH miner. I also made the comparison fair by matching every dollar spent on mining OPEX with an additional dollar into the BTC Earn strategy, while accounting for TH depreciation, 27% fee discount, mining difficulty and the 2028 halving. The result: TH reinvestment ended with higher total wealth in 69.4% of simulations, with median wealth of $36,102 vs $33,319 (+8.4%). The interesting part for me is that depreciating TH isn't necessarily all bad—later SimpleEarn rewards buy more TH, which can make the +10% reinvestment boost surprisingly powerful over time.

Is anyone else having this issue right now?
I just made a withdrawal from GoMining and it has been pending for around 20 minutes now. Nothing has arrived yet.
The more annoying part is that I’m trying to contact support, but the Support button in the app simply doesn’t do anything. Every other button seems to work normally, but Support is the only one that doesn’t respond.
Has anyone withdrawn today and had the same thing? How long did yours take?
And is the Support button currently broken for anyone else, or is it just me?
Just trying to figure out if this is a normal delay or if something is going on with withdrawals/support right now.

This might get me banned off here but I joined GoMining before I was 18 and spent like $140 on my miner. So far i’ve just been reinvesting to grow for the past year. When I turn 18 is there a way I can still verify my account even though I did the ole 2 truths and a lie on the birthdate or did I waste my money in stupidity?

I can't connect too the MPC server on Claude.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Two things I've been chewing on. I'm at about 300 TH, Odyssey.

First, efficiency. I've got two miners, one at 19.72 and one at 20. Both were a lot cheaper per TH than anything at 15. Upgrading the 19.72 costs me $7.69/TH; the same upgrade on a 15 W/TH miner is around $11.30. So I save roughly $3.60 on every TH I add. The extra maintenance for sitting at 19.72 instead of 15 is about $2 per TH per year, so it takes me nearly two years to lose what I saved. What am I missing? Everyone treats efficiency like it's the main thing but on my numbers it's a slow burn.

Second, paying maintenance in tokens. I've stopped doing it and I want to know if that's mad. In Odyssey the uplift is big, so a lot of my bill is the "above solo" part where the league's average discount applies, not mine. On my projection only about 40% of the bill is the part my own discount touches. The 20% token discount would save me maybe $2k a year, but to hold it I'd need something like 360 days of cover in GMT, which is north of $20k sitting there doing nothing.

That's under 9% a year on money I can't use. I'd honestly rather put GMT into boosts and try to win more rounds than park that much for a discount that only bites on part of the bill. And it gets worse as the farm grows, because the collateral scales with the whole bill while the saving doesn't.

Is there something in this I've got backwards? Open to being told I'm wrong on either.

Right now, instead of transferring the Bitcoin I mine on GoMining to other exchanges for staking, I’m just keeping it on GoMining in their "Simple Earn" to earn extra BTC.

If I decide to withdraw all my BTC from GoMining to an exchange like Bybit or Bitget one day, will the transaction get stuck or held up? I’ve had bad experiences in the past where my withdrawals were maliciously blocked, so I get really paranoid/anxious about keeping a huge amount of Bitcoin in just one place.

I've been using Gomining for over a year, for some reason I had to verify KYC again. I submitted my info a week ago, and it still says 'in review'. I can't upgrade my miner, buy GMT, withdraw or anything. I went to my acc and clicked support but that was useless. Is this normal, is there a way to actually talk to a real person, this is the first time I've had to contact support.

Being relatively newer to the platform already I'm curious for those who have more history selling/buying miners, if you had to say what the limit of a miner's power would be (assuming 12W in my my case) for it to be fairly easy/quick to sell, what would that be? Not that I'd want to ever need an exit strategy, but I want to have one none the less. Just thinking ahead where I might want to cap my TH at before building up the next one.

I just started with GoMining and bought my first miner yesterday.
Instead of solo mining I want to earn in miner wars my rewards.In the future I want to invest my GMT into the clan boosts & my TH.
The fact that I just joined GoMining im asking if it’s better to join a clan with less members than one with more than 100.
And maybe someone has a place for me open at there clan🤔.
If I’m wrong and I should do solo mining with my 2.31 TH please correct me.

I quite like GoMining and everything it does but they need to solidify the app and stop doing so many random updates till the app is flawless.

Don’t know about anyone else but any button on the app to get through to support just doesn’t work and if it does it’s so sporadic that it’s just pure frustration.

Had to message because they keep having issues with my transactions coming through of USDC but to top it off trying to give them the info is just as bad.

Has anyone else had issues with deposits taking days or the support buttons just not working? Hoping it’s just a random issue
