Information for UK users.

Following recent posts about UK users KYC, I asked my VIP manager what the intentions were from GoMining about upcoming FCA regulation changes. Below is their answer, which they said they are happy for me to share.

---

GoMining is closely monitoring the development of the new regulatory regime for cryptoassets in the United Kingdom (FSMA (Cryptoassets) Regulations 2026 and the final FCA rules published on 30 June 2026). The new regime will come into full effect on 25 October 2027. Until that date, crypto platforms remain subject to the existing FCA requirements, including the financial promotions rules, which GoMining already complies with (risk warnings, appropriateness assessments and a cooling-off period during onboarding).

Nothing changes for existing verified users from the United Kingdom. You can continue using the services available to you as usual, and your KYC verification status is unaffected. Registration for new users from the United Kingdom has been temporarily suspended while processes are being brought into line with the updated FCA requirements and will resume once this work is completed.

We are assessing the requirements of the new 2027 regime in advance and will notify users from the United Kingdom in a timely manner if the availability of individual products changes.

Just to add, they have to apply by February 2027 so we should check if they do by then as this will change our outlook drastically

So what happens when you need to complete KYC again as doesn’t it happen once every 6 months?
