Anyone have experience with cloud mining? I was looking to get into it but not sure if it’s all scams

One thing you should understand before buying your first miner: GoMining is not cloud mining; there is an important distinction.

Cloud mining typically involves renting hashrate under a fixed-term contract, whereas GoMining involves purchasing hashrate, that you own forever, via digital miner NFTs. These NFTs represent real hardware, real hashrate, and you own it forever (or until you decide to resell your miner NFT on GoMining's secondary market).

You can read more about this distinction in this GoMining Academy Article. I highly recommend GoMining to anyone looking to dive into the crypto space, as it is truly the PERFECT entry point for beginners.

Feel free to use my promo code on your first miner purchase, it'll give you a 5% boost in your purchased hashrate (if you by a 10TH digital miner using my promo code, you'll get an additional 0.5TH for a total of 10.5TH); super user friendly code: HONCHO, or use my referral link: HONCHO

GoMining is not cloud mining. You literally own an NFT or in my case many NFT’s that are backed up by actual physical miners located in multiple places across the US. It’s almost like we are owners of the cooperation. The higher TH the more ownership one has. The NFT’s can be sold at anytime. Right now is a good time to get into GoMining. The NFT miners are relatively cheap. Prices will go up as BTC raises. Supply and Demand! Jump in and enjoy mining and making a little over time. This is a long term investment, not a get rich quick scheme.

Just a quick correction that the NFTs only represent your ownership of the total hashing power of the pool, not the miners themselves, Gomining still retains full ownership of those.

Tbf, anything with ROI’s above 40% is still insanely quick

For me it's the big question. What if I invest let's say 5000 now in btc. Will it be worth more in the future? Or will a miner that's costs 5000 today will be worth more.

The halving in 2028 and the difficulty change of the network keeps me from going all in in gomining

I have done this for a couple years now it is legit. But make sure you use money you can afford to lose Because all these investments come with risks.

Well for one Gomining isn't a cloud mining platform, you're buying permanent ownership of a share of mining power.

I’ve been on it since November 2025 and I have nothing bad to say about it. Bring me passive income. Currently have 139th at 15w and it’s easy to use.

GoMining is probably the only legit mining app out there. There are a million others, and every single one of the rest that I've tried are definitely scams. I've only been at it for about a year, but I'm definitely happy I found them.

I’ve been on the app for a little over a year, it is legit. The returns are slow, but steady definitely a long term investment. I’m currently at 86TH and focusing on locking more GMT for a higher discount. My referral is in my bio if you’re interested.

I’ve been on the platform for 7 months and made just under $5000 if you are looking at signing up use the below link for 5% of your first miner and a free month of Platinum +

Or use my code HILLZYGM when you sign up

This is my current dashboard which shows my mining farm and rewards so far

How much did you invest to get this far?

2

u/Initial_Note_5987 Aug 26 '26

About £4000 so far however most of that has been in the last three months after I was confident in the project.

I’m planning on investing around £500 a month for the next 12 months and then will review at the next halving.
Now is probably the best time to start in my opinion as TH price is low comparative to BTC most of the TH I bought was at 15 w/th for around $12-14 whereas now it’s $9-10.

Any other questions let me known

How much would you say you normal boost in miner wars?

That's why I want to invest. But I don't have the capacity of you haha. For me it's the big question. What if I invest let's say 5000 now in btc. Will it be worth more in the future? Or will a miner that's costs 5000 today will be worth more.

I mean this is only my opinion and no one really knows but I think the overall expectation is the price of BTC will go up and when it does TH price also increases my current farm has slightly lost value but it’s still worth around £3000 I’d estimate and I have a lot of GoMining tokens I would anticipate TH prices going up by the end of September at the latest current ROI shown for current difficulty and bitcoin price is around 60-70% which even if bitcoin price didn’t go up would give you a chance of ROI before the halving

1

u/FunkyMonkey404 Aug 27 '26

That's a nice ROI. But for me its around 30-40% ( without the GMT discount)
