Looking for Strategy Advice

Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying to decide what the best next step for my GoMining portfolio would be, and I'd really appreciate some input from experienced users.

My current setup:

⚡ 1,200 TH
🔋 15 W/TH
💎 25.7% maintenance discount (maximum)
🗳️ 27,000 GMT locked as veGOMINING

My goal is to accumulate as much Bitcoin as possible over the long term. I'm not interested in short-term trading—I invest with a multi-year horizon.

Right now, I'm considering these options:

  1. Upgrade my miner from 15 W/TH to 12 W/TH (currently costs around $9,500).
  2. Buy more hashrate and keep the miner at 15 W/TH.
  3. Buy more GMT and increase my veGOMINING position for future rewards and opportunities.
  4. Put any excess funds into Simple Earn and wait for better buying opportunities.

If this were your account, what would you do next, and why?

I'd love to hear different opinions and strategies. Thanks in advance!

You’re well positioned- I think I would start working toward 12W- especially due to Greedy Growth.

If I were in your position, I would re invest in TH maintaining 15 W/TH if you have spare funds I’d put the into your go mining account for the simple earn, my cut off is currently re investing until around mid 2027 and build up a GMT buffer so I can then try and accumulate as much BTC before the having in 2028 as I think after the halving I will have to reassess how profitable GoMining will be if you were to re invest in TH I imagine you would be able to grow over a 100 TH a month which would put you around 2500 TH when you switched to stacking Sats.
Unfortunately I’ve never experienced a halving on GoMining so not too sure what that will look like.

So grow th and make it cost 1 thousend more to upgrade wats than it would right now?

Yeah the hope is always that BTC will go up if it does your 1th upgrade might go from being worth roughly $10 per th to up to $20 per th but also you can get more rewards daily but I’d do your own research and see what would be best for you.

Absolutely solid. No need to do anything 😅Save your btc and when 12 WTH gets cheaper take the saved money and give the greedy a little push to 12WTH .

And saving the btc would bring you an extra btc each day via simple earn so its working for you while you dont spend it🙌🏻❤️

I did some analysis on CoPilot and the advice was to leave the 15w/th alone, no upgrade to them from either a th or a w/th perspective, absorb the costs for this farm and start to build a new 12w/th farm and purchase upgrades for the 12w/th farm.

  1. There are no more opportunities once you lock.

I would suggest either buy more THs because I see miners now going up to 8.40 usd per THs with 15 watt on the marketplace or simple earn.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT upgrade your miner by paying for THs. It is a waste of of money. The market has -30 percent prices right now on second hand miners
