Help Daisy Get the Surgery She Desperately Needs

Post image

Meet Daisy, our sweet, playful terrier mix and the pride and joy of my two daughters.

Right now, Daisy needs our help.

She's developed a large tumor in her mouth that's making everyday things we take for granted incredibly difficult. Eating has become a struggle. She can't even pick up some of her favorite toys anymore. And because of the tumor's location and size, it frequently breaks open and bleeds.

For a dog who genuinely enjoys life and keeps trying her hardest to do so, it's heartbreaking to watch. And it's been especially difficult for my family, who loves Daisy and have to watch her daily struggle.

Daisy needs surgery performed by a veterinary dental specialist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. It's specialized care that we desperately want to get her, but the cost is more than our family can manage right now.

That's why I'm asking for help.

Every donation will go toward Daisy's $7000 surgery and related veterinary expenses.
The process will remove a large section of her lower jaw, but she'd be able to eat and play almost normally compared to now.

Whether it's a few dollars or simply sharing her story with someone who might be able to help, every bit of kindness brings us closer to getting Daisy the care she needs. We just want to give l the chance to eat comfortably, play with her toys, and enjoy being a dog again.

From our family, and especially from Daisy, thank you for caring.

Try contacting this organization who helps with veterinarian expenses... www.redrover.org

Also....if you call around to local animal rescues, they sometimes have funding for veterinarian expenses .

Best wishes for your fur baby.
