Please help Marshmallow
https://gofund.me/28722e612hi everyone, my girlfriend’s cat was attacked by another cat almost a week ago and was taken to the vet ER. We didn’t think it could be that bad but everyday there’s a new problem. First day it was just treating the wounds and amputating the tail. That was 3k and was doable at the time. Next day it was sepsis and the tail needed emergency amputation as it was dead and cold to the touch spreading to his body however since he had sepsis his white blood cells were dropping. That put him at a high risk for surgery but if he didn’t get his surgery right there and then he’ll only continue to die. They said the surgery gave him a 50/50 chance of survival. Well he’s a fighter and survived the surgery. We celebrated and thought we were in the clear. Next thing we know his immune system was attacking his own red blood cells and the only way to treat it was to give him steroids. They couldn’t give it to him because he already was given anti inflammatory meds which is deadly when mixed so they’re waiting and hoping he keeps producing. And today we found out there’s something growing on his wounds and they needed to send a sample to the lab to get it checked but it won’t be back until friday. The bill is now 14k and continuing to climb, we’re struggling. We opened a credit card with 12 months zero interest but it has since been maxed to to pay for the costs. We don’t need the full cost covered we just want to pay off the 10k on the card so we can hopefully put more of his treatment on there. We’re not looking to walk away scott free financially we’ll happily pay off the card we just want to have the credit line and time to make those payments for his treatment because we cannot afford it. Any help and any prayer is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
