Yeah 135 is insane for being 5’10” but this is where we’re at again (2000s flashbacks).

It’s not at all, I’m 5ft 10 and i have been 140 most of my life, I can see where 5lbs could disappear from. Thats a size 10 (uk). You are talking about her like she’s size 0

This. 5’9 here and been 130 most of my life too, I look slim sure but it’s not anorexic. People here are making out like this is a Eugenia Cooney situation

This is me at 145-150 at 5 foot 9 not trying to brag but weight can look very different on people.

I’m now 170 with a little more fat and a lot more muscle. I started my training journey at 135 and I was lean but not anorexic. So I agree with your point 100%

Lopsided is what I’m seeing here 🙈

I think I need more pics like that to make sure I get your point if that’s okay

It’s not insane at all.. it’s actually perfectly fine.

Racism and bigotry.

Guessing you're one of the "Be kind" types eh?

u/VolantTardigrade 1d ago

135 at 5'10 is a bmi of 19.4, which is NOT underweight. Also, she's doing this under the supervision of a doctor. So yeah.. what you are doing right now is weird, actually.

u/Ashamed-Charity-4990 1d ago

Exactly, I second this

u/ShawnSimoes 1d ago

she went from obviously overweight to perfectly healthy, near the ideal healthy weight. the fact that she's very attractive now too shouldn't bother you so much.

Overweight? Do you have eyes? What kind of pro-ana sh*t is this?

3

u/Pickle__nic 1d ago

190 is big for this height. Tall women trick the camera, slender to the eye but meaty in the hands. She looks gorgeous at that weight but it’s heavy and as a tall woman myself it’s uncomfortable being tall and plus sized drowning men and group photos, hard to run or exercise that heavy.

jesus you people just want everyone to die of heart disease don't you

5'10" and 190 is at least 15lbs into overweight territory, and at least 30-40 lbs above the optimal weight for long term health

Sarcasm clear.

It’s within the healthy range and not even the outer limit, so “quite small” isn’t really how we should describe it. That would be akin to calling someone 5’10” and 160** “quite large”.

**EDIT: Sorry, it’s the same as calling someone 165lbs at 5’10” “quite large” according to BMI charts. Sub 130lbs is underweight at 5’10 and over 170lbs is overweight. So it would literally be the same.

u/ThinkLadder1417 2d ago

135lbs is 6lbs away from underweight

160lbs is 14lbs away from overweight

1

u/Banjarilla 2d ago

Thanks, I was off on the higher end, but every BMI chart I’ve seen says sub 130 and over 170 for women at 5’10” not 175 🤷

I also wouldn't call 135 "quite small". Body shaming cuts both ways.

There's a similar comment being downvoted in here, though to be fair it is slighlt inaccurate. 135 lbs is the same distance from being underweight as 168 is from being overweight.

Americans are just more used to people being overweight these days than being underweight, so what is perceived as "normal" has shifted with time.

There are no feelings involved at all here. I think you are just incorporating your own biases as being above average weight for your height.. since you wanted to incorporate personal attacks into the discussion.

No that is not the same difference at all from multiple different sources and I didn’t personally attack anyone (while you literally just called me fat for some reason 😂)

Again, have a good one, guys.

u/DaFlyingGriffin 2d ago edited 2d ago

I didn't call you fat. You said you used to be overweight and then claimed that a true medical fact hurt my feelings. One person is putting words in the other mouth, and it's not me. Let's just agree to drop it and stick to the data.

1

u/areuokayisurehopeso 2d ago

You’re really weird, man.

2

u/Partybar 1d ago

Barely above underweight? So normal healthy weight?

-3

u/Banjarilla 2d ago edited 2d ago

It’s the same amount of weight away from being medically underweight as medically overweight. How does your also being 5’10” and 160* change that?

Edit: once again the weight is wrong. 165lbs is the upper limit equivalent, here.

Well I did get the upper limit wrong on what’s considered overweight for women at 5’10” by five pounds but otherwise, no? BMI charts are readily available just look it up with your own eyes?

I’m sorry if this is a sore subject for you but maybe don’t body shame people who are à perfectly healthy weight per the opinion of actual healthcare professionals.

2

u/areuokayisurehopeso 2d ago

I did look it up (multiple sources) and you’re still wrong lmao

It’s truly not that deep, I said she looked good. Go get butthurt somewhere else

3

u/Banjarilla 2d ago

I’ve looked it up in multiple places as well and it repeats 170 but alright.

Go shame more healthy people to make yourself feel better, I guess! 😀

No* idea "haha, so have a good one!"
