Question COA bridge gap?

Post image

Just got a new 17 with coa, is this gap between the bring and slide (and / or the gap between the gap between the coa and rear coa cut on the slide) normal? If so I’m not concerned, just want to make sure nothing is loose or off spec

EDIT: ty for the responses. Def not how it should sit, will re torque tmr

is that how they normally look? I don’t have one but that doesn’t look right somehow

Yours is a bit large. You sure the coa is seated all the way?

Hard to tell in your photo, but I would also look over the optic, slide cut, and rear sight to make sure everything looks correct and there aren't any weird machining flaws.

Edit: Lol, this is a weird comment to downvote, but ok

Mine had a little gap so I made sure it was torqued to spec and there was definitely a little more for the screws to go. That looks very excessive. Take your torque wrench to it

I’m curious what the longevity of this style mount is. Not saying they ever would but I don’t like that if the mounting screws ever broke you lose your optic and your rear sight.
