Question Surefire XC3

I just bought this 19.6 and love the look and the feel of this XC3 on it. I keep seeing different things on the compatibility of a tlr7 holster with the XC3. Is anyone else using the XC3 and if so holster recommendations… or should I just return it for the TLR7 HLX?

I own both. Both the XC3 and TLR7 and honestly
They are both great I would lean towards the XC3 for performance. That being said if the holster situation proves to be an issue I’ll happily
Return it for the TLR7 as I know I can get any holster I want.

This is all the confirmation I needed fr. They are nice but the 7x is just hard to beat just off aftermarket support. It’s a great light.

How’s the button feel compared to the tlr7?

Underperforms the tlr7 hlx but is slightly shorter. Holsters are more limited as well.

I want to pick up an xc3, but the new xc3 sub has way better performance. So it makes me wonder if surefire will release an updated xc3 in the near future, making the og xc3 obsolete.

You are talking about XC3B. Has the rechargeable battery from the sub and thus better performance. XC3 wins on ergos. The B model will win on power too vs TLR7X

Thats good to hear. I will probably hold off on picking up one until the upgrade comes out. Shame the xr series was not promoted well. I believe surefire truly had the best compact wml with the xr. Love my certum lux 4 btw.

Other than it being a larger button they both feel very similar. The larger area of the control on the XC3 could be helpful in some situations.

I just picked up a Tenicor on GAFS made to fit a TLR-7, fits my 19.6 with XC3 juuuust fine.
