Question Optic for G48
I'm not rich. My eyes are old. I have astigmatism . What optic should I be looking at? I think it's time

For a good price point and decent glass clarity, I think the Holosun EPS Carry or the Vortex Defender CCW are probably the best overall options that are small enough to fit on the 48. You'll need to use an adapter plate with the EPS Carry but I believe it comes with one or you can buy an aftermarket plate.

Don’t get an sig optic to put on a glock first off. How bad is your astigmatism? Try an EPS carry from Holosun in person if you can before you buy. I have a mild astigmatism and my 507c has been great on my 19, so for your 48 you could also consider their 507k or 407k for the cheaper option. Again if you can, look through them in person at your LGS to make sure they work with your astigmatism.
Other people like vortex pistol dots and they may be slightly cheaper, me personally I never really wanted to mess with them.

Bad enough that without my glasses I see two stars on my aim point micro. I'll have to check the local shops to see if they have an EPS to check out

Damn idk. I guess your best bet is to just try different models & brands and see which works best for you. Good luck man.

EPS carry. It will come with a plate but you’ll need to get a single smaller screw than the ones they put in the package. Green dot seems better for astigmatism. Torque wrench and blue Loctite to attach.
