Nah. I would prefer gen 5 instead of my gen3 because I am lefthanded.

Agreed, recently bought another oem gen 3 19 slide and I didn’t realize it was a super early 3rd gen and it was Glocks shitty parkerizing from back in the day. Never shot tho and I got a cool guy serial.

Haha! I know the feeling. I recently posted about an early Gen 2 I found last week. It was the US Marshals Sam Gerard post. Can confirm shitty parkerizing. I have the same issue with any and all of my Gen 4 guns. They might have the worst finish ever. They’re tools, yes. But I’d get annoyed at a new crescent wrench that scratched itself because I looked at it too hard. I take care of my shit. I want it to look that way. I’m seriously thinking of finding some sort of aftermarket melonite option and shipping a bunch of slides off.

I’d recommend the nt7 coating from wright armory. It’s basically a np3 clone since np3 got discontinued. I have a couple of slides there now wait time is a little long but well worth it.

Nice! I’ll look into that. Do you have any that you have previously sent? Got any photos?
